My dad is down there now. Going to see if he will take a look at it. We need to sell his car BAD. This would definitely fit the bill.

That left tail light caught fire.....
Sure did. Smells a little fishy to me...Electrical trouble
I didnt even notice that.... Dont have my contacts in and my glasses are at home. Huh... I have a new harness for the tails though. Still worries me.
Yea, never really know what else could be fried, or maybe it was an outside source, like parked his car too close to a campfire or something. Never really know 'till you check it out, and to save another fox is always worth it.
do i see crank windows with power recline? weird combo
LOL Yeah thats what I thought.
Are you guys sure it was on fire? Going to call tomorrow. My dad is down that way until then. If it is bad then I will atleast have touched base with this guy if he parts it or goes lower.
How can you tell that? I guess I didn't try to blow up the pic or anything. It just looks like the tail light lens fell off, like lots of them do, and the guy duct taped it back on. It fell off again and the tape left a lot of residue. At least that's what it looks like to me, not a fire.
Looks like the sticky part of the tape to me too :)
Ever seen what a SMALL fire does to painted metal? That's a LOT of white to be the glue from tape...
Way too much of it on the left side. The pic IS garbage, just like every other pic on Craigslist; a reason I would never buy anything long distance from that site...
looks like tape :D
It was. This is the new ad. It is just asking to be in the driveway...
Just emailed him to get the run down.
Well there's the window cranks and stuff I've been looking for. Nice to know they do exist.
Duct Tape leaves ALOT of behind when it sets for awhile.
If it sits long enough it basicly peels off the backing and leaves the sticky'ness on whatever it was on. >.<
Random pic i found:

I figured it was a small one put out with an extinguisher....
Glad to hear it's just tape residue.
Good luck DVP.
