Title: How to wire a starter switch

Hey guys how would I go in wiring a starter switch? The ignition switch does not work starts the car im starting it by bypassing the starter selenoid and killing it with the ign switch. The tranny is a c4 and engine 5.8 carb'd thanks guys lmk.

Since you've done a engine and tranny swap, likely you're just missing a connection at the neutral safety sw. I'd be tringing to find that problem rather than wiring up another sw...

Well the neutral safety switch is connected but i dont think its wired correctly. When I got the tranny the wires were spliced and did not had a connector and I just tried to connect them by color but some were the same color. Does anyone know what color wires are the ones I need the tranny is a 67 from a mustang and my car is a 88 Cougar thanks guys lmk.
