You lose your brakes and find out that your brake line snapped because the structure of the car broke. I welded the piece back together, repaired the line and mounted it in a slightly less scary spot but I figure this is gonna break again. Sadly I think it's on its last legs since I wouldnt consider it safe to drive anymore, but it sucks saying goodbye to your first car after 7 years and 80,000 + miles. Currently looking for a donor for the drivetrain.

Holy hell the shock towers are gone. I don't think I've seen one of these snap the front subframe...

Well it was... A lot of the rot popped through again and I was going to fix it again. But she's pretty tired after 254k miles
Not anymore, moved back to Boston. I may not end up with a bird to put it all in but I do still have a tc in OH I need to get back here.
That's why I killed my parts TC. The front frame was broken, and you could actually bend the car by pushing on the bumper with your knee (you could watch the gaps between the fenders and hood get bigger & smaller)...

There's probably as much rust on that brake line fitting/retainer as is in my whole car...
AND a perfect reason to search out a solid car, rather than screwing with those rusty northern turds... Down here we junk 'em...

only the 427GTE, Cobra Jet & Boss 302 versions(yes I know there were two Boss 429s built as race cars)...
Sorry, No Fox versions make my list... The Coug verts are surely rare, but as yet don't qualify, since they can still be found for $5000 or less...

Yep, moved back a couple weeks ago. From can't find a job to making $20/hr doing TIG Aluminum in a clean air conditioned shop :flip:
