I've noticed over the past year, drivers on the road have no idea honestly how to control and use their cars. i had a lady on the interstate come into my lane and act like she was ganna stay there untill i either hit her or hit the brakes.... not to the bird it, i finally got where i drove past her and slid the rear end at her driver door a couple times like i'd hit her pricey sedan with my "pos" 1200 dollar car (not really.) then i was going around a corner in a neighborhood and i notice the guy thats in the left lane while im going left is coming right at me. my head missed the hood by inches but the car didnt get hit, THANK GOD. i love how the car can get the fuc out of the way.
i could go on and on, and its happening more and more frequently. people trying to get you to hit them to get a fraud insurence scam b/c they're under the payments, when infact they're in the possition of the one to get screwed over by law. stupid people! and this goes accross the board. the guy that cant stay on the road, no idea how to drive in traffic, ignorant and dangerous drivers are in control of tanks. i'd bet 1 in 3 people really know how to drive, honestly. if not less.

ITS GETTING WORSE AND WORSE.
been busy and on the road a lot, savin up for all the goodies.
Most of the bad drivers around here, are college girls talking on phones while putting makeup on. They're all over the place at 60mph
I just about got rear ended on the interstate. I was doing 75, 10 over the legal limit, and out of nowhere this huge SUV is right on my bumper. My first thought was HOLY shiznit where did they come from. So I moved to the other lane and let them pass. It was a middle aged woman that was smoking a cigerette and talking on her cell phone at the same time.
So can someone tell me what hand she had on the wheel?
This morning on my way to work, I almost got rear-ended. The Caravan behind me got hit pretty hard while we were sitting at a traffic light. Thankfully the driver had their foot on the brake otherwise they would have plowed into me.
People are stupid. Put them behind the wheel of a 2500lb battering ram and you're asking for trouble.
I think of it this way: How many people do you know that failed their driving test? Of this small number, how many failed enough that they do not have a license? Any?
If basically anyone can get a license, there are a ton of idiots on the road.
More like several megatons...
Here in SoCal, a daily occurrence is an accident involving a non-licensed illegal immigrant, here in Palm Springs, happens a couple times a day..Got to have special insurance coverage for "uninsured motorist". Also, our truck drivers are always complaining about other truck drivers talking on the cell phone, causing accidents on the freeway etc.
Cell phones are the single greatest contribution to bad driving since alcohol.
I wonder if the bluetooth hands free that is coming in new cars these days will help...
In the earlier part of the 20th century (pre-war), it was possible to obtain a driver's license here in Ohio with just a birth certificate. No driver's training, no classroom...just a "good faith" promise to drive safely. That is how my grandparents got their licenses. My grandma was a lead-foot too. :)
Now imagine if that still went on today...
Define average....
I think that depends partly upon the area. Where I work is about 15 miles from where I live. People drive much worse where I work.
A lot of our crazy drivers come from Canada (no offense guys)
Mostly older people driving 50 in a 65 in the passing lane. the rest drive about 75-85.
I go to Fort Wayne Indiana once every year in November, no offense to anyone from FW here but i watch out there, they drive F***king nuts.
I am guiltly of bad driving but only every once in a while. i've never gotten into and accident because of it but for the most part im not that bad. everyone thinks they are the greatest drivers and people my age think they are unstoppable. Well we aren't as sadly my friend found out this year when the car she was riding in was t-boned by a Semi. 17 years old, our senior year, she had a full ride to Stevens for softball just like her mom did, she was suppose to be here for our pranks and all the stupid shiznit that we do everyday because we are seniors, graduation... one stupid turn and a speeding truck ended all that too short. Do people drive stupid yes. we all have no one can deny that truthfully. all it takes is one stupid driver to be speeding and you be in their way.
My dad is a truck driver and i have alot of respect for truckers because of this but some can be just as stupid and anyone else with a chip on their shoulder. they all know they can't stop so why would they speed, 20 over nontheless.I have no respect for that trucker, he showed no emotion no remorse. because of one driver in a hurry and my other friend missing one turn i had to see and feel what i've been warned about since before i could drive. My Grandpa has always told me driving a car is like running around with a loaded gun. it is and sometimes people have to learn the hard way... sometimes by then its too late.
One our way too the burial someone cut thought the funeral line and caused a chain reaction accident, 4 cars involed in an accident on our way to a funeral because of an accident. asshole didnt even stop. there was a reason, there was a reason why i was the only one that pulled over, not sure why but their had to be.
Maybe God took her to save a bigger number of her friends, maybe he did it to save me, one thing is certain it sure did change the way a whole community looks at life.
