I bought some Sylvania Silverstar's for the 99 both low and high beam they are amazing. That is just low beam.
You should take a pic with one of the old bulbs in to compare.
I installed those after I cleaned up my lenses and people flash their brights at me all the time. I thought maybe I had them aimed high, but they're within spec. It's amazing how bright these things are.
Yeah I have the same ones on my t-bird there great but mine still need to be adjusted...but they do make a difference
Tell me how bright those silverstars look after one year. Just kidding, I already know...they are absolute junk.
Take it from me and anyone else who bought blue tinted bulbs without learning more: return them and get Sylvania XtraVisions.
the thing is an those aren't the blue tinted ones, they are bright whites and clear bulbed.
The original silverstars are 55w low beam, right? As far as I know, thats the correct, so you get ~23% more light output. High beam is still 65w.
That picture reeks of glare though, not actual useful light output on the ground.
