I should have these on hopefully Monday or Tuesday. They are chromed T304 stailnless tips with doublewall construction.Pictures can't do them justice. They'll look great on the Sport, especially after the new paint job. They're also a lot heavier than the look.Who cares, the Sport isn't on a diet. They look a littly cloudy because I had just brought them in from the car,and they're like two stainless ice cubes, and the heat in the house was foging them. The chrome is just incredible.

nice, I thought about doing that before, but didn't want to hack up the polished stang pipes...
I have the bumper cover notched and ready.I cut the Australian Ford falcon tips off and gave them to a buddy for his '68 Mustang Coupe. These will look sweet.I have an overall design and look I'm going for.I have been making plans and studying what will work and what won't for the "right" look I'm going for. It's actually harder than i thought at first. With the blue car,i just did what I wanted wwhen I wanted. This one is a lot more thought out.The tips will really give the Sport a finished look once I have the car painted.Until then, they'll just be the shiniest part on the exterior of the car.LOL.
Those look great Vinnie! I like that they're rolled, slash cut, AND staggered! Should really look nice.
(Does the same company make single tips? The P71 needs nicer ones! :hick: )
Thanks for the props on the tips.I looked at a LOT of them before I found the right ones.I don't know if they have singles or not.I'll find the name and let you know.Stay tuned.
tas_performance_sd I got them new off of Ebay. They ran a hundred bucks for the pair.More than I wanted to spend, but they were THE tips I needed. These I bought have dual 3 inch openings on each tip.Nice.Rolled edges is the only way to go.The ones without a rolled edge looks unfinished. These actually aren't rolled, but double walled.Very high qualty. As I stated above, they are much heavier than I expected, and have a really "solid" feel to them.
They look like Corsa tips for Corvettes and Firebirds.
Very similar, but these are slightly offset if you'll notice, which,is something else I wanted which made the search hard. The Sports bumper cover has a slight rounding at the ends, and I want the tips to follow the contours of the cover.
I actually really loved the Aussie Falcon tips. These are nice too, but the Falcon tips are the ones I would have used. I can't wait to see the finished product though. I love the cut bumpers.
I also liked the Aussie tips....a lot, but, for the look I've planned, they won't work.I've got a lot of drawings and notes in a book (just for the Sport) as my blueprint.
Your bumpers gunna turn black because of the spiral effect.LOL
No black bumpers.I have the new design for the rear cover worked out.I just have to find another rear bumper cover.I'll run out to my favorite yard and grab one.I'll also have to get the bumper.
