Post by: Thunder Chicken on December 25, 2007, 11:33:30 AM
Merry Christmas,, good tidings to all, may your holidays be filled with joy, and all that  you've already heard a bazillion times. We all know it's the season of giving and all that tired cliche silliness.

Now the important stuff: What didja get?

Me:

Pipe bender (WAY cool - bends up to 3" pipe. Can we say "Custom exhaust"?)
Leather jacket
Air Havoc remote control helicopter (already gave the cats coronaries with it, but some frickin' hard to control)
Simpsons movie DVD
Simpsons season 10 DVD set
Family Guy volume 5 DVD set
Two sets of gear wrenches (one metric, one standard)
Electronic vernier caliper
Two "Zits" books, a "Foxtrot" book, two "Asterix" books, and a "Sherman's Lagoon" book
Misc clothes

How 'bout you?

toss the weights in the trash and twist the tail boom clockwise looking at it from the rear (not too much.) you will get much better foward flight out of it ;0) might have too use the trims on the controler.

A whole bag of Tbird-washing goodies :D

Ratcheting screwdriver set and small needle nose pliers (for working on the computer)

Box of Snickers candies!

All in all, it's been a great Christmas for me.  Just got to relax with the family and friends and eat an awesome home cooked meal.

However, the wait for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue to arrive is KILLING me.  So if it isnt in tomorrow, I'm headed down to EB games to get Motorstorm...that should keep me occupied till GT5P arrives :) .

Bourne Ultimatum

Yes!!!  We win! :D

As for the kids, yeah I agree.  I thought I was spoiled as a kid (and still am), but some of the things I see other kids getting these days, especially people my age still getting loads of expensive stuff.  I have to buy my own big Christmas presents now (ie the Playstation 3 I got myself).

Hm?  I'm not sure what you mean.  If you're talkin about movies, then it actually came packaged with Spiderman 3 on Blu Ray.  As for the selection of Blu Ray movies, I went to Best Buy last week and there is quite a large selection of movies for that format, and from what I hear, it's getting more support than HD DVD.  I chose PS3 mainly because A) Gears of War went to PC...so there went the main reason for a 360 B) Gran Turismo 5 (which will be arriving at my house any day now!  Well, the Prologue version anyway) and C) other exclusives such as Resistance Fall of Man (which I have...and is awesome...pwns Halo in every way), Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted Drakes Fortune, Killzone 2, and Motorstorm, among others.  And earlier today, I was browsing this forum on my PS3's internet browser :D .  I really need a cheap USB keyboard for it though.

From family, the usual.
Clothes, tools, DVDs, CDs, the 2007 Hess truck (been getting them since I was 5). I also got a pair of glasses with dual LED lights that I enjoyed going around blinding family members with.
