i've got a picture somewhere of 3 turbocoupes and my ranger sitting in my driveway... all of which were mine and i drove them all regularly.... i'm a tc nut, what can i say?
ok, ok. heres more pics.
the blue bird belongs to Rev. he is a new member here(0 post in fact, but he reads alot). he lives semi-local to me. his 87 is a base V6, with a good number of power options.

long weekend, but it feels like a whole new car! its not MINT, but it is a very clean and solid car to start with. more to come as it happens.
next priority is a clear(er) pair headlights; especially the right side.
:birdsmily:
NICE!!!
Pm me your address so i can get these little covers out to you
and wheres your headlights!
Wow, that's a very clean Bird! Good job helping him out, sounds like a fun project ;)
He better help him out!
oooooo aaaaahhhhhhh purty birdy..........
And it's the right color too. ;)
Looks like a very nice car.
It's refreshing to see such a clean non-TC every once in a while.

What about mine?:hick:
Nice Bird. Help him keep it that way. Did you know he has the same wheels and tires that I do? Weird:D
Hey Rev! That's one sweet ride! Nice job!
just spend a little time and elbow grease and polish the headlights.
Nice ride(s)
Keep up the good work.
Thanks! Gumby found it. And Gumby has made some useful suggestions to bring it to the car I wanted for a daily driver.
This is my second '87. Had the first from '92 through '98. Smashed up the front end in a traffic accident and didn't have the time, skill, or skilled son available to do anything about it.
A drove a good car out to Gumby's. I drove a great driving car home. This is going to be fun.
One last pic. The dog is a rescue too. Got her shortly before the car.

I guess I never have commented on how nice your bird is too. :o
Very clean for a Chicago area car. I especially like the two-tone silver/med gray combo.
I admit, I was always attracted to the TC's much more than non-TC’s but as I get older, I am starting to appreciate them more.

i thought this thread might be enough to bring you out of "lurk" mode, Rev.
soon enough, you will be addicted to the FTBCF like the rest of us
If you couldn't, who could. Are you going to tip our hand or keep the entire board guessing about whether anybody within commuting distance of Indy can have you work on their car for a whole weekend for the cost of a case of beer and a hug?
The Rev.;)
It's so clean and rust free because it's from California and not Chicago:D I'm just lucky the previous owner keept it in a garage so the sun didn't ruin the paint (It's 20 years old. Thank god Calfornia is good for one thing:D ).
