Wow, I loved seeing your car in MMFF. I was wondering if you were a member here.
That Bird is beautiful !!
But I am partial to the look :)
Great Job !!!
Holy smokes, that's YOU!?! Awesome car, awesome article! Why haven't you updated your Top 25 ET List entry?
Oh and BTW, no need to hide your center console switch plate with a hat, I make those decals NEW. Seriously, shoot me an email.
Holy cow here I am reading the mag looking on my favorite web-site and it all came together at the same time.
Love seeing other fox’s in the mag and its you
Looks great man congratulations
PS LOL now ill be bragging I know you
Congrats man! Always nice to see our cars get some glory.
So I decide a month or so ago not to buy that rag anymore (after the "Fvck you, 2.3t guys" article), and now you drag me back in?!?!? you! you to hell!!!!!
read the article very disappointed no shout outs to http://www.foxtbirdcougarforums.com
Looks like I'll be picking up my first ever copy of MMFF.
Thank you form saving me having to post that up Nice ride its always nice to see a 80s T-bird in a car magazine.
could someone scan the article and post it as reference?
congrats! i'll be sure to check it out.
Don’t know how good it’s going to be it took me forever of trial and error of shrinking it enough for this site to accept.
Original file size from scan is 1.98 mb site says it has to be within 146.5 kb so it probably not going to be to clear. I wanted to break my computer when it told me I was to big at 147.3 kb bring it under 146.5
next 2 scans coming though you probably cant read them anyway.
Last 2 scans/pics though i don’t think you could read them I had to shrink them enough to make this site except them.
That car is BA.
Can't believe your selling it Ron!
For real dude, that car is something else. Congrats on the magazine thing for sure.
Brian
Saw the article today! Wish I had the cash! It'd be nice to add that beauty to my stable.
Wow, I just happened to have that issue sitting in my mail pile as I opened this post :D Swet lookin' ride and nice times N/A! Are you going to 5 x 5/8 studs based on the "wheel hop & broken studs" post on Harcore50? :D
I'll go pick it up today.
Nice Congrats on the mag. The closest I got to MM&FF was 11 years ago when Stupid Ask Bernie column told me to get gt-40 heads, gt-40 intake, and a 65mm tb. What a dick, he writes a giant paragraph about air silencers to stang readers and when someone asks him for a good engine build for a bird he writes a little tiny 1 liner.
At least what he told you may have been accurate. He told me (back in 1993) that a TC hood would not fit my '85 Thunderbird because the body lines were different. He also told me to forget about building a carbed 302 - it's easier to build an EFI 5.0. This was after I told him that this was a Canadian V6 car that had no EFI from factory, so a carbed 302 would've been drop-in.
I notice that even in this latest issue he made a mistake - he told somebody with an '86 'Bird that he'd need new engine mounts to put a 9.5" Windsor-based stroker in the car. Since when did a 302 and a 351 need different mounts? And if they did, wouldn't Ken have pointed out that the guy would also need a Mustang K-member to use new mounts?

i was looking at the wrong magazine saw a 2 tone T-bird was a 1983-1986 Black and sliver that was running somewhere in the 12s but it said his best pass in the car was a 11 sec pass i will post pics when i find the magazine in my stack of junk. Very nice Car for no power adders.
