I'm good.I just did two speedos. One for practice, then, the 140mph speedo I just got in the mail today.I have the 140 in the car now,and the other one is in a TC cluster, which,I'm going to post for sale. Thanks or the info.
Jump the ships sinking.I thought somthin bad happened!!!
My time was limited and I needed to get this done fast. Now it is.Not bad.I removed the cluster from the Sport, set two speedos back to zero,re-installed the Sport's gauges,re-assembled the TC cluster,in a litle less than an hour.I could it faster now that I have a clue as to what I'm doing.
10-4 Good buddy!!
o.0 you guys talk about makin the trip go back, but your rolling it back to zero? i mean... isnt that illegal? a rebuilt engine is THAT new.. (im not objecting, just askin)
Illegal, probably. No different than installing a new aftermarket gauge, though. On my Sport, everythng from the engine to interior has been changed, and from the front clip to the exhaust, the rear is getting ready to go away for an 8.8,nothing original is left,so,the odometer isn't representing the original car anymore anyway .I;'m getting ready to install another cam and new heads on the H.O engine,so,I figured,we'll just start from zero. The only thing the original odometer was representing was the windows (except the driver's door),and the body shell.
being as screwed up as our nation is now,,im sure theres a loop hole.
proper procedure calls for you to notify DMV about a change like this ,, ie,, new cluster with a zero milage reading. They will note the vin and it will appear on the next title.
There won't be a "next" title. Not on this car.If anyone has something to say,I'll deny all knowledge.
