i needed a pedal assy from a sn95 mustang to finish my dash swap, and ran across a place that had them. ( http://www.car-part.com ) he said he had them, and it was $75. a little steep, but oh well. i walk out back to look at the cars, and the 1st thing i notice is an 03/04 cobra front bumper. it happened to be a gt, but it had shorty headers, bbk o/r x, and a magnaflow catback. this car washiznit HARD in the rear, so the tails were . i asked the owner how much he wanted for the lers, and he said make an offer. i offered $50 and he said OK!
cliffnotes.... paid too much for 5 speed pedals at a junkyard, but then buy a polished stainless magnaflow catback (sans tails) for $50! :D
ill get pics when my batteries for the camera charge.
hummmmm how close are those lers to the mounts in the t birds?
they're the same, but you have to extend the flow tubes a few inches.
so you gonna use them in your car or what?
very probably
if not let me know im looking for cheap good lers and flow tubes because i need to start getting my car close to legal
they have a 98 stang with a flowmaster catback. i could see what they would want for it.
i didnt see any lsc fuel line laying around though. :hick:
aero has me covered on lines, so im gonna buy them off im cause hes a awesome guy. Find out about that if you dont mind, cheap is good for me, cause i have nothing but a h pipe right now. thanks man! o theres pics of the lights in the other thread
I've got Magnaflows on my 87 and they are nice. They sound great!
That Magnaflow stuff more than makes up for the pedal price. Nice score!
they're a little dinged up. afterall, the car looked like it met the pissed-off side of a tree/pole!
Awesome find.Deals are still out there if you look.I go to the yards as often as I can.I love to hear these stories about great parts for cheap.
pics added to 1st post
Now I see the pics...............you !!!!!!!! LOL.
Magnaflows do sound great! I have the bullet style, bought them from Antonio. I only have one on since I dont have my Prochamber yet. Sounds sooooooo deeeep. I love it.
ya you suck, thats exactly what i need right now, lers and flow tubes
nice score. Looks like the guy that made the one that day fell asleep while welding them though. I've done that at work, LOL. My buddy has those on his '90 LX Stang, and yeah, they do sound good.
I hated the sound of them when he first got them, but now that its got some miles on them they are louder and deeper sounding now.
Nice! They look pretty good. I like Magnaflow lers, I've got one on my 87TC. Fairly loud @ idle and downshifting, but cruising it's pretty quiet.
And to think I've got a pair of those lying on the ground next to my garage, attached to two brand new tailpipes (and a Y-pipe) out of that TC parts car. I was actually looking at 'em tonight, thinking I really should put them inside...
