nope its a tank engine i just read all 24 pages of it and i watch vids of it running sounds like heaven man
Actually, the Meteor engines were used in tanks, but were based from the better known Merlin engines, used in planes.
And yes, 27 Liters is correct:
General characteristics - Type: 12-cylinder supercharged liquid-cooled 60° "Vee" piston aircraft engine
- Bore: 5.4 in (137.2 mm)
- Stroke: 6 in (152.4 mm)
- Displacement: 1,647 in³ (27 L)
- Dry weight: 1,640 lb (745 kg)
Holy Shyte. What the hell kinda car was that? And I saw a 67 Camaro with a Merlin in it once at Hot August Nights.
thats amazing and all, but i dont feel like going through all of those pages to find the vids and such.. could someone help me out here?
And to think, I seen a caddy 501 in a chevette and thought that was too much. This thing is borderline overkill, awesome though.
