I got hosed on my first freaking buy. The text said that the parts, both upper and lower intakes, injectors, fuel rail, and distributor were out of an 88 mustang GT. So the stuff gets here today and its 5.0 stock output parts the same stuff thats already on my car. I'm pissed think i can get my money back?
prob not cause you never made sure with the guy its was h.o they are not gonna understand theres a difference between a s.o and a h.o. the details kill you, unless the guys understands, then maybe
Didja confront the seller about it? If you did and he's being a dick, and if you paid via PayPal you can file an "Item not as described" claim. If you paid via check/MO you could still likely file a mail fraud case against him with USPS, but it might be a bigger pain in the sphincter than it's worth
so you werent shipped orange top injectors?
You have nothing to lose by trying to get your money back.Start out nice, then get ugly.personally,I like E-bay.I watch to see how long they've been selling, and their feedback score.
ALL Mustang GT's were HO's in 88 (86-93 at least!!) so there's NO excuse for them being wrong. DEMAND a refund, leave a negative, file with SquareTrade and eBay and PayPal. That's why I ONLY use PayPal WITH a credit card anymore, and I've been selling on eBay for 6 years!
I used paypal and sent him a nice message first and this is my reply "Im not sure how to idenify the HO parts, But I took it off of my 88 gt 5.0. It looks the same as the one on my 87 gt and 92 lx. If there is any thing else I can do please let me know. Thanks Corey" I'll ask for my money back and see where it goes.
what's the auction number?
He's going to refund me after I send it back. I'm out the shipping but whatever.
thats good
