So in total i believe we got around 1 - 2 feet of snow but it was the little piddly that blows around easily.

I'm a couple hours south of you and all it did yesterday was rain...
From what i heard southern Ohio was supposed to get hit worse than us, all and all we got 9 inches.
We got 5-6" snow Tues night, then 1/4-1/2" sleet ice, then another 4" of snow last night...on top of the 7" we got last week that hasn't melted. I have no more room to put snow....I took a couple pics. I'll post them up when I get back to the house.
The 80 XR-7 and the parts Scorpio are buried....
Yeah we got it pretty good, it can be pretty scary driving a TC with all season tires and no weight in the trunk over a road riddled with foot high drifts, but somehow it gets its way through it all. I think I would be screwed if it was a pegleg.
My buddy made the mistake of driving his grand am down a backroad that was pretty much a constant foot-plus of snow. Packed the front of his engine bay up pretty good.
hey 20th anny dude how is central ave? My girlfriend has an MRI scheduled at toledo hosp...
Its snowing like crazy out there now.
Whats that??? Oh the Canadians are laughing at us.
We got about 11" here hit or miss from what I heard. I'll grab some pics later
Here's a couple shots.

Fun..
We've been without power for a day. It just came back on! It's a good thing too, because i need a shower!
here's some pics.
I'm still waiting to see pics of a "Blizzard" :D Cripes, you guys get a foot of snow and it's the end of the world. Ya don't even have to be Canadian to know a REAL blizzard, though - How 'bout upstate NY?
Anyway, I'm sure you've seen my blizzard of '04 pics - this blizzard dumped 95.5 cm (39") of snow in less than 24 hours, driven by 120km/hr (75mph) winds. If you haven't, here's a quick review (this is really gonna hurt, I'm back to dialup):
THIS is a buried Thunderbird:

And this is a buried Malibu (if you look closely you can barely make out a bit of the buried minivan across the street, next to the house furthest to the left):

I believe somebody mentioned snow being packed into an engine bay... well, the
WIND did this -
the car had not moved. I started it and it was strangely silent, so I opened the hood and found this:

This was when I started the cleanup,
halfway through the storm:
Didn't do much good, though, as the snow just piled back in (note the garbage bin):
Dog's gotta poop, but he's gonna have to hold it a bit longer:
It took three days for the road to be plowed:
Note the tow truck in the pic below - this is why we were lucky enough to be plowed within three days. The mounties wanted that tow truck on the road:
...And when they did finally plow it, the snow banks were enormous. Enough to dwarf my father's Explorer:

So, um, yeah.
THAT'S a blizzard! :hick:
i got maybe 1/4 inch, now its all rain time for e brake burnouts in the escort
Hey 20th!
Your Cougar looks like an Aero Coupe getting ready for the '87 Daytona 500!
just you guys wait!!!! the NY capital region FINNAAAALLLLLY got some decent snow. we should have somewhere between 20 and 30 inches when all is said and done, AKA by 6-8 A.M. tomorrow.
ill be goin home friday, ill post pics!!!!!
@ ThunderChicken: WOW. just WOW.
bhazard, i have no clue how Central is , i dont work at Bax anymore they called me off three days in a row and i could not afford that with having to pay for the new cougar. I know that Lucas county is now at a Level 2 Snow emergency.
wow i got shiznit and you guys got massive amounts i hate you
I took this measurement about a month ago when I got my sled home, this is measuring from a packed path (so about another 5 inches) and it is at 44-45 inches, we have gotten another foot and a half or so since.

I'm gonna take some pics this weekend, i'll get one of the 'fox corner' of the yard and post them, you guys can guess which bump is which car :hick:
I now have to go dig my car out of the driveway, its stuck half way in.
Scott
^now that's some snow.
Look how he just shiznit all over this thread
Sorry, I was trying to hold it in. :D
Blizzard? Really?
Newfoundland is still digging itself out from two years ago.

It's easy to tell you don't drive yet in that your jealous of the fact that some of us got more snow than you. Shovel a driveway for two hours and near burn up a clutch trying to get one out then you won't be so jealous.
ehhh, i learned to drive in the slick ...I hate it..he's never apparently had to drive in the stuff for sure, let alone 100+ miles in the . Turn his little butt in to a snow-hater like me real quick...:beatyoass:

thats what my moms jeep is for back it above the driveway, throw it in fourwhel low and punch it that 318 pushes it right though makes shoveling easier, and only car ive dirven in the snow (yes i knoew its illegal, but i could care less) is a 95 ford escort, i tell you want you can hit 90 only moving like 10mph lol
Ever see what happens to spider gears when they weld themselves together? Or what happens to a differential pin when it decides to take leave of the differential at 90MPH? Or, for that matter, what happens to a tire when it explodes?
Believe me, once you start driving in snow you'll hate it. Farting around for the hell of it is one thing, but when there's 200 miles and six inches of snow between you and home you'll loath the stuff really quick:punchballs:
well not like i was driving it for a long time like that, i was on a hill and had no choice or i was gonna roll back into a main road and prob would got killed, and farting around is with the green car in my driveway i left a patch in the ice today right down into the driveway it was smoking like hell. and once i drive a rear wheel in the snow i know its gonna suck. But right now i just don't wanna go to school. think i sold the green thing today so got to have as mcuh fun as i can before it goes!
hard to tell it reaches all the way down the drive way (its short driveway) not bed for a peg leg escort, smoked like hell, and my neighbor was cursing me you to no end. O well it was fun.
wow bud, this car is gonna sell real well..thanks for advertizing that you beat the snot out of it. that mustang is gonna hate you.
Sorry to be a dick and all.. but when you get your first ticket... it isnt fun.
i don't beat what i like, guy came and looked at it today, and wants it, that was after and trust me i wasn't beating it that hard, i had it at 3500 max i know limits, and it was only saying about 20 on the speedo. The white car that was different i had no choice, and im sure its not fun, and thats why im not gonna go all out all the time. I respect my stang, its MY baby. so thats not gonna get that kind of treatment. I get what your saying though, i fool around a bit much, but then again i have yet to learn a lesson, which ive seen happen, which is why i take it easy driving outside my driveway.
lmao.. yeah i learned my lesson in a vette :D and thus i drive a ford now :D
I learned to drive the Vic in this shiznit.
My old '88 Grand Marquis did rather well in the snow what with the heavy weight and the traction lock.
I know, I like it. Dad said the trucks ( he's learning to be a semi driver) are really interesting to drive. My bird on he other hand was a joke with her slick rear tires.
