WEll, for me I took my girl out for out 2 year aneversery. Not bad for just highschool kids. Then we came back to my house, both out familys hung out and we had a few drinks. Can't forget that a few un-named people I know had to do burnouts at 2am ( me, dad, a few HS freinds.) Not a bad night. Anyone else wana share?
I got out of work at 8 and went to my sister and brother in-laws. Ate a ton of food, watched the new Superman movie. Then watched the ball drop, drank a little, ate some more and headed home around 1:30. Got to bed by 2:15 and got up for work at 6 this morning.
So here I am at work almost 8 hours through my 12 hour shift. Thankfully there is next to nobody here and its been a quiet day so I've been able to grab a few naps and mess around on the internet.
I went to work at about 5 and didn't leave till around 4 am, almost hit me about 12 drunks!!
Oh happy days!
I wound up not getting out until 12:30....
Hung out with some friends at a private party at a bar...home around 5:00AM
went to a buddies house, party got too big and we had to start throwing people out, played some beerpong, got in a game of circle of death. ummm... then accidentally got with my buddy Jakes (it was his house) cousin. Opps. anyways it was a lot of fun. wish i would have been able to do a burnout but with the cat on stands its not happening. felt really good till it came back up.
Drank an entire bottle of tequila, alone...9:30 to 11:45
At 12:00 i fired 5 shots of the 9mm to the sky. For those whom have been here in the new years day may know what im talking about....
Went to bed at 12:15......
Went to a party at a friend's house with the wife. It was snowing like crazy and really slippery, so I just drank Pepsi all night. Made lots of noise at midnight, looked around and thought, "Well, that was exciting." Another year down. Drove home and was in bed by 2am.
Me? Nothin. Watched a movie and missed the ball drop.
I went into work at 10:00 pm, headed to the break room about about 5 till Midnight early before I went out for my break, watched the ball drop, went outside on break and then finished the rest of the night.
Real. Exciting.
I'm glad that year's over.
i dont think the details from new years eve for me can be revealed on this site without getting a stern warning from a mod........ all i can say is bout 5-6 hours of fun time with my fiancee
Played cards with the neighbours while the kids played Playstation, till about one in the morning.
Had some Blueberry Ale (Pumphouse), and a few other unique blends, including a Mocha Ale, a Raspberry, a Stout, and a few others. It was a mixed 6 from Garrison Brewery in Halifax.
Had some people over, played some Hold 'Em, made a little money, watched the ball drop, played some more Hold 'Em, made a little more money, Had some Budweiser Brew Masters, and some Michelob Chocolate , and Vanilla Oak. In bed by 4:00.
I went to a house party at my friends house where the dress code was Formal, then after midnight Me and my girlfriend went to see a private screening of Pursuit of Happyness
I worked.....it was supposed to be9 pm to 7 am. Wound up getting an extra hour though......

I had to work new years eve, noon to 3, but I'm just a waiter and thats not too much of my day.
Don't be sorry for me. I made a ton o' cash. As far as what I do, I'll give you a hint: I drive around in a Crown Vic with a pretty light rack on top.

Nothing special on the 31 or 1st, I was watching TV, Simpsons, South PArk, the Griffins, King of the Hill, ect...
I never drink on the holydays, cauz I'm sad a bit cauz My father deceised around this time 19 years ago, and My mother is not in good shape at 84, for that I don't drink at the christmas or new year...
So the 2nd I purchased a 24 beers, (I already have a 5 in My freezer), and drink all the time with a music from My DAT or other, I like taking a party without anything, no problem's with another in this time...
At the time I write these lines I'm so drunk, But I'm good for another 12 hours, but after that, I'll go to bed for 2 days:dunce: :grinno:

I had work too. All overtime though 9pm til 730am dealing w/drunks people who shouldn’t drink and people who should of stayed home. And got soaked around 2am right when it started pouring rain.
Once again, I'm always bringing up the rear on these kind of threads. As for my New Year's, reference a nearby thread named "What I Got for Christmas (or something like that)". I was in a hospital room with my wife and newborn daughter where I'd been for 4 days, wearing 3-day old clothes and feeling anything but festive. My wife and I had both gone several days with little sleep. As always when you live in the Central Time Zone, the ball drops an hour early, which I did get to see at 11pm my time. But long before midnight I dozed off, which is the first time I've missed a New Year's in a very long time. Even though this sounds anything but exciting, there was no place I would have rather been.
