It's been through hell but it still looks good. All the molding are still black, bearly sunfaded exect the leather.... It's still a nice car

My car has a clean history, but I know a drug dealer owned it before me, then it sat for a while before it ended up at the dealorship. I went to high school in a town of 4500 people, and even though it sat for years before I got it...all the police in the area knew my car and watched it closely, even though it was under new ownership. This really doesn't have much to do with CarFax and is more of a "I'm-sick-of-working-on-stuff-so-I-will-post-something" post, but I thought it was interesting.

I have an history like this with My 1979 Tbird, I lost My drivers licences in 1988 for "drunk and drive", and I drove this car at this time, and the Police know me a lot at this time, but in My little town anothe guy have an exact Tbird like Me, except was a 1978 or 77, except the rear stop lights it was near the same car, rusted at the same places, same color, ect...
The other guy was never have a drivers licences, and at each time it take his bird, the police hold it and fill a bunch of tickets, and towing, ect, ect, this guy hated Me a lot, hahahahahh!!!:hick:

I found strange things when some time ago , Antonio gave to me the carfax of my explorer 96, and it said the truck has been in a minor accident. Well, i guess it wasnt a minor accident because every time i clean inside of the truck, at least i find little pieces of glass, EVERY TIME (and i got it in 2005) So i guess the truck was totalled or something. All windows are new, the moonroof doesnt work properly, and the paint was new. Sure, was a very big accident.....
Why i bought it ? well, it had 80,000 miles.....
Scott, does it work for cars with the VIN starting with 3 (cars made in mexico)

the vin EI4EBHD0996 is not a 17 digit vin so carfax wont work.
as for the other vin,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,1FABP6046JH101866
it also must be incorrect. check and see if one of the digits is wrong cause carfax wont pull it up either.
For the Red 88 Tbird VIN: 1FABP6046JH101866 is WRONG, I just go from out at sunlight and the correct VIN: is 1FABP6046JH104866
the 3'rd sequential number was a 4 not 1...
For My van, the E14EBHD0996 is correct, on the vin plate and on the title, And I remember one of the VIN of one of My first car, and it was only 11 digit too, probably for 1980 and before the VIN have only 11 digits???, Anyway, You have the RIGHT VIN for the red 88 tbird...

My '85 Bird always a non electronic "ole" carbed V6 in it, never modified, It's not a CFI or wathever injected engine, only an ole carbed, I see this curious, for the parts 88 I have it's noticed the same of My '85, but the 88 is a EFI...
I guess Carbed and TBI is the same thing for carfax?...
I'm just curious.
Or I'm confused with a terms due to My very good English writing/reading:D , some words or whatever escape Me...
