Well I'm guessing you found some then ;)

Looks pretty good.  I wouldn't go much lower though.  Did you lower it when you swapped wheels?

That would look badass if the wheels were painted white IMO

I wouldnt lower it more than an inch.

I'd say front height looks good as is. Back could be an inch lower or so.

:iagree:
The wheels would look great on that car in white. The front looks like it sits fine but the rear could go down a bit. The car is comming along nicely. I need a 4 eyed Bird:birdsmily:

I think if you drop the rear you're going to have to drop the front too.  That way the car stays parallel to the ground, or else the front will look to high.  What are your plans for this car?  With the half top, I hope you keep a clean, luxury look to it.

Looks like the rear is sitting high because the car is on uneven ground.  Otherwise it looks awesome.

The car sits level, I guess I should have picked a better spot for a picture.  Otherwise it sits the same as the front in that picture.

I believe that this car was origbuttstuffy equiped with the TRX package, it has a rear sway bar, looks to sit a little lower and handles great.  It also has a big front sway bar but I'm not sure if these cars had multiple size sway bars.  Now the number one giveaway would be the Ten hole wheels that it would have not come with origbuttstuffy.  Plus two of the center caps are dated 87.

As for white wheels.... I'm not a big fan.  They just don't look right to me.  Tomorrow I'm going to take it to the car wash as it is filthy in these pictures.  I will snag some more pictures and hope for some sunlight.

Oh and I didn't touch the suspension when I installed the wheels.  Not yet.

I'll have to bust out something in PSP with brown snowflakes...

And sho... snowflakes are cheap and easy to find so thats why I have them.. I do like them, but If I could get ahold of something else I wouldn't hesitate in changing them.

What do you guys think of this new sig?

Brown with the satin centers.....:D

Perhaps a very slight drop, not much though.

You need to hit that rear rocker rust with the blaster and seal it up, esp if the car is going to see an Ohio winter....

I know its been dug into the ground many times... but what would you recomend for front springs.  The rear I will probably track down a set of Bullit springs.  The control arms being different for these cars (than my 88) I dont know what to get.

Lookin' good, Claude. Me thinks I should take a road trip out there again to hang out, now that the '86 is running like a top.

...which is exactly what I need to do for my '86. While the frame and rockers are totally rust-free, the driver's side door is looking pretty chunky.
I've heard a lot about POR-15, so I suppose I'll look for some of that.

I've been hearing some good news about this stuff
http://www.nomorerust.com/silver.html too.  I'm actually wanting to try that out over the Rust Encapsulator on the XR-7 windshield repair.  The silver is supposed to be air tight... (no oxygen=no oxidation=no rust).
