And yeah, I didnt see who was driving the car... but they had a female passenger, definately.
What really sucks about winter... is that people put away their "project cars" and bring out the big ol' gas guzzlers. If it were up to me, they would be banned. No WONDER Michigan has two seasons, Winter and Construction.
And hey, i'm not ignoring you on myspace... i just dont like those gigantic comment banners. Text is always nice :)
So as I was coming back from Gibraltar, I saw this on the way home. In the back of my mind I was thinking it might belong to someone on this board, and if not... it's still worth taking a look at. It has a sticker(s) on the back of the car indicating he/she's taken it for some customization.
p.s. that is NOT smoke coming out from under it, it's the windshield of my mom's van. (dirty I know)
So anyways, as I mentioned in another post about the 1974 Cougar... it's currently under a cover and parked up in that guy's driveway. So i'm guessing he hasn't found a buyer or doesn't have internet access. Either way, it's safe from the weather right now.
Lastly, as the weather starts becoming colder (with global warming, its actually been in the high 40's low 50's) the population of Cougars and T-Birds have dwindled. All I see out there are those ed SUV's and conversion vans. Not to mention the Ford F-150's, PT Cruisers, and Chrysler Crossfires.
It needs to have a cover on it, stored in the garage and be sold privately on eBay.
The owner is NEVER home, and the car is parked with the bumper hanging over in the street. Uggh.. I seriously think he just wants the money. But, judging by the way he's presenting it... noone will be chomping at the bit to get this car... considering the economy we are in.
He needs to advertise this better.
I've been persuing, walking by, and taking a general photographic interest in this car, and the guy just seems to be unavailable for comment. If you were to just see this car, you couldnt get any more info other than its obviously "for sale". There's no written info on the signs, considering the guy doesnt bother to change them. Arrgh.
This cougar has been "for sale" for about a year and half, and its un-covered too. All 4 signs have been warped off, so I cant tell how much he wants for it. The last time I saw any amount on it, it was listed at $6300 obo. Just curious about the car, as I will always be about Cougars. Honestly, I think by next summer he'll chop the price in half. Just wondering what you guys think about this.
because if you did.... thats where they have all the whacked out versions, supposed "celebrity cars", and vintage classic cars, and the michigan sports hall of fame.
it was located sort of off to the side near the entrance (where the honda showcase was)
