Essentially what you are supposed to do is get a thin piece of black foam, measure and cut three holes out in front of the bulb and put the cover back on and voila 86 tail lights with an 87 style. I posted the link below. btw CoolCats has some good information.
Hey everyone, new to the forum. I found a link to here from the CoolCats website. They have a modification on there to make your 86 tail lights look like 87 and up, the three circles. Their tutorial said that the lens on the 86 tail lights just pop off, i looked at my car and im having a hard to just finding a seem. Do i need to completely remove the tail light to remove the lens?
