The master cylinder went out in my 1987 Turbo Coupe, and I'm having one hell of a time trying to find a new one. Does anyone know the part number for this or even where I can find/ buy one??
Thanks, trying to get this turd back on the road before winter comes again.
I know of about Three silver turbo coupes right around where I live, another metallic gray, and a few 5.0 and v6 birds. Theres more than you'd think its just about catching them on the road, thats the tricky part
My last fill up i Got 9.9 miles to the gallon. I know I drive on the more aggressive side but 10 sounds nothing like what its best was, about 30 according to my dad.
So I've felt like my engine has been horribly down on power lately. It's an automatic so the boost only tops off at about 7 lbs but it has horribly slow free revs that take close to 6 to 7 seconds to go all the way up to red-line. Also I tried doing a 0-60 to see where it'd be, it took 14 seconds. Lastly it idles between 500 and 700 rpm. It doesn't feel like it use to and my dad could verify that, what could be wrong??
So I finally removed the engine! I feel proud not going to lie it was cool to finally see this thing come out. Yes it would've been nice to have it out oh a month or so ago but its to late now. I'll upload some photos of the engine out. Don't have any pictures of it coming out. I did get the motor to come out without having to remove the fuel lines, I'll get that done soon though so I can keep the rails. It'll be on its way to get torn down and built next monday if everything pans out right. Probably wont if it goes like the rest of this project.
You would think the guy knew because I'm assuming he could have taken part in taking them off or he has accidentally seen the back of one of them. But oh well his mistake not mine.
I do not know who is selling this or how accurate they are about them being five bolts but thought someone would like this link. Out of Cedar Rapids Iowa area.
