I have a 7.5 Rear Axle, 2.73 Non-Locking. Its the factory 4 lug setup with drum brakes. I will take a cash offer, just PM me an offer. Just finished taking out the axle to replace with a mustang 8.8 with traction lok. For Local Pickup ONLY, I don't want to ship it.
On the coolcats site i see that there are templates for white faced gauges, i don't understand how that works, the numbers don't look like they would illuminate. Has anyone done this before, or is this just an idea someone had that doesn't work. I would like to do it, and am wandering how to get it to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have the possibility of getting an 8.8 really cheap (basically nothing), its out of a 92 mustang. I know its narrower, and i was wandering what is involved with making that fit, and whether or not it is worth it.
Yesterday when my dad and I took apart my new 302, we found we had a high performance sig erson cam and could not id it. We looked at their site and they don't use the same style id that they used to do. Can anyone help me id this cam.
I wanted to swap out my v6 for a 302, and found this one on craigslist. He said it came out of a 78 Lincoln, and through a little research found that that is probably the worst engine, but i could get it for a py old kawasaki 3-wheeler. Got home yesterday with the motor and started to take it apart to see what i had gotten myself into. Looked up the ford part number on the heads because it looked weird, turns out they are 4v's out of a '68 302, arguably the best stock casting. Next my dad and I wanted to find out why it wasn't ran very much, so we dug deeper. We were surprised to find a 306, performance pistons, and a very high performance cam. Along with all this we got a fox pan, serpentine belt system, and some other valuable goodies. I definitely think we came out ahead on this deal.
While working on my cougar today we damaged the interior panel where the rear arm rest attaches to. It wraps around the rear fender and the rear window. Will the piece that wraps around the fender on a Mark VII fit on my 88 Cougar. If it wont, does anyone have one of those pieces, possibly both top and bottom drivers side pieces
Hey I was wandering if you had the big panels in the back that wrap around the rear window and the panel that attaches to the rear arm rest, this is on the drivers side, also how much for the circular lights that go in the back?
