Engine Swapping / proper fuel injector size after a 351W swap
Don't worry guys I am not confused. I am fairly knowledgable on the subject I just wanted other people's opinions on it.

My original idea when I was planing this build was that the larger injectors would compensate for me bringing in extra air because of the larger displacement.  I can see now why that will not work.

So my only options are to put my 19lb injectors back in or get a calibrated MAF. Will the 19lb work in this application? The heads are stock 1970 351w with a port job. Stock valve size and exhaust is shorty headers and 2.5" dual

Engine Swapping / proper fuel injector size after a 351W swap
Hi I was hoping that some one could help me determine the proper fuel injector size for my application.

My Cougar has a 1970 block 351W the rotating assembly was balanced block was bored .030 over. Pistons are Keith Black flat tops http://www.summitracing.com/parts/uem-kb151030/overview/

cam is a summit SUM-4400 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-4400

stock mustang computer AL9 i believe stock mustang throttle body and mas air sensor. The injectors i am currently using are stock ford 25.3lb they were used in ford flex fuel vehicles.

the car seems to run good but it is running rich and only gets about 9 MPG.I was not expecting phenomenal fuel mileage I have not even had it tuned yet but 9 seems a little low. is it because the injectors do not match the computer and MAF? should i just go back to my 19lb fuel injectors?

Thank you any help would be appreciated.
