So 50 dollars later and today is the first time that my T-bird has had a full tank of gas. I've had it for almost a year now and decided to fill it for the first time. I noticed the digital dash doesn't tell you how many gallons, it just has an F. Not sure why but I got excited about it. LOL
I was on my way home from speaking with the navy recruiter earlier, which was aggravating enough, and I got off my exit and as I'm waiting at the red light a kid in a riced out, primer spray painted hyundai pulls up next to me and says, "Hey man, you drive that grandma car like its a race car!" I told him that it wasn't really a grandma car and he goes, "Oh, I thought it was a Buick, my bad." then drives off. Then to top off my lovely day, my rear brake line decided to blow out as I was turning onto my road.
I did a search and i"m still a little confused. I have the premium sound with the EQ, which sounds pretty good, but i want to add a little more bass to it. I don't really have much money to work with which is why im not ripping it all out and starting over. I would like to add an amp and subs but i'm not sure where to start with it.
The previous owner of my car said that the sunroof didn't work and it had been sealed up, but I hit the button the other day and it opened... but now every time it rains the sunroof leaks all over my seat. Do they even make the seals for these anymore?
I have been wanting to upgrade my radio for a while now and I am looking for ideas on subs and boxes. What setup do you have? I'd like it to be nice but not taking up the whole trunk. thanks
We've got a 73 mav with a 347 in it. Beautiful car. My first car was a 76 mav, first thing i did was change out the bumpers for the smaller ones on my parts car.
It still has the TTB in it, not sure if I want solid axle or not. If the wallet approves then i will be swapping a v-8 in. I'm only 2 days into it, which I think is good progress considering that i have school full time.
if they made the digital dash so that it would only go to 85 then why would they put the one in if the speedo would never go up to 100? just thought it was kind of funny
