Lounge / Re: Problem with forum.
I'm having the same trouble. I clicked on the dropdown and none of them show anything. The "Storm Cloud" is highlighted, but I can't click on it.

General Fox T-Bird/Cougar Discussion / Gas Door Failure
I really wanted the plastic coated cable but couldn't find any.
Measured the old plastic cord against the cable and added an inch and clamped the hardware to the cable.
Used my Dremel to grind down the stop end to fit inside the plastic part.
Works good and the cable will probably outlast the car. lol

Lounge / RE-logging in
Don't know why, but I have to re-log in every time.

I got this notice;    [COLOR="#FF0000"] Invalid Redirect URL (http://www.foxtbirdcougarforums.com/).[/COLOR]

After I log in everything works.

Anybody know what I need to do to correct this?

If you have the antenna assembly out of the car, I use two pieces of electric wire and a 9 volt battery to test these antennas. Plug the two pieces of wire into the grey plug and the other two ends on the 9 volt battery. Reverse wire on battery to make antenna go opposite direction.

I broke down one time going to a car show, one of the heater hoses busted and a NAPA was about a block away.

Stopped in and asked for a heater hose for a 4 cyl. thunderbird and this guy was a manager and told me that ford never put a 4 cyl. in a thunderbird.

He wouldn't even look it up. I asked another counter person and he found one for me. What's wrong with these people?

My son turned 18 on Monday and we got him a few useful things (pots, pans) since he is moving out next year.

We have a foreign exchange student from Finland living with us this year and she decided to make him a birthday card.  It came out awesome!  We were all like :-O when we saw it.

Here is a pic of the card and of his car, I think she captured it pretty well.

WOW, She's awesome!!!  She would have a future here, making birthday and Christmas cards of members cars.
