I'm not sure what a sport wheel is. The button on this one is 3 1/8". I would like $40 shipped. I may be able to get another button for it in a few days,I'm not positive of that yet though.
Sounds good to me. . I'll measure the horn button on my car.
Went to start the car up after almost a year and a half. It had a hunting stalling problem for years when my sister drove it and it still had it the last time it ran. Hard start, bad idle, hunting ect. When I started it the belt squeled like a pig. Seems the smog pump seized up and the belt broke after a minute so I decided to to run it for a bit any way. It started and idled pretty decent. Better than it did in years. Still has a bit of a flat spot but I think it's due for a full tune up. I'm bypassing the pump altogether and will remove it when I get it to my shop. Any tips on filling the holes in the back of the head and any hoses to be removed or capped?
Anyone know what length belt to use ? I've read here 78" and 87 5/8". Comments ?
The belt size is 78". The part number is Dayco 5060780. Went on like cake.
I ran a search and came up with only a couple posts by guys who disassembled their seats to repair the lean. Has anyone done a step by step breakdown, weld up and reassembly ? I've got decent sheet metal and weld skills but striping the seat of it's fabric and foam seems like it may be quite the task. I'm starting to get excited about the car again and hope to have it ready for paint in a couple months.
I need to replace my wires and am curious as to which wires fit best. Over the years I've bought all brands and found the fit on most all except original factory ones were full of compromises. Accel, Mallory, Taylor, AC Delco & MSD to made a few. I see on the auction site a Mallory kit consisting of a cap & rotor, coil & wires for about $155. Anyone running this ? Comments on any ?

I just got the Galaxy S3. I had iPhones for the last 4-5 years. I feel my 4G iPhone was easier to use. It's a phone primarily and a method to peep the web secondary. The Galaxy S3 absolutely eats battery power. It lasts barely 7 hours with moderate use. I don't play any games. Only calls, text and some web. However the screen is bigger than the entire iPhone almost. Just my 2 cents. I might go back to an iPhone.
OK here's the deal. In five months I give back my 2011 Lincoln MKS and need to have my 88 Sport on the road and bug free. Between renovating my moms house, trying to finish the resto in my 49 Harley Panhead, work and being old, fat and lazy I'm running out of drive. What I need are some nice large format pics of dark blue 87-88 Sports and TC's to get me inspired and back on the project. I'm running the stock dark blue with snowflake wheels, TC header panel and a shaker. Also thinking of a rear spoiler to replace the luggage rack. I'm replacing the front disc brakes with 90 Mustang GT spindles but will keep the puny stock rear axle for now as it's got the 2.73 gears that gave me about 16 mpg in city driving.
