The car is located in York PA 17406 about 45minutes from Harrisburg or Baltimore. I can be reached any time through E-mail(2gnrt@comcast.net) or Phone (717)968-6083. I would like it to be gone by this weekend.
I installed the first compliment of gauges when I bought the car the boost and A/F work fine the oil pressure however didnt work. After the install none of the stock aux gauges worked either. Brian installed them he used what he said was the stock oil pressure sending unit wire(white/pink) however when I took it apart tonight I saw 3 white/pink wires. The ones he had used gave nothing so I reconnected them to their rightful pins and the fuel gauge now works however the charge/discharge and temp still do not. The stock oil pressure has no sending unit so I would not expect it to work and the boost is run off the stock boost so again I do not expect it to work. The third pink/white wire(second pin on the top from the left) provided a believable reading(about 60lb at idle) so I spliced it into the wire. After putting the cluster back in I started the engine to test the gauges and the oil pressure jumped from 0-100(the end of the range on the gauge) constantly it didnt change with engine RPM or load. Has anybody had a similar problem? Im starting to believe the sending unit is bad.
4/15/09 Carlisle PA Fairgrounds: RWD is fun! my best time was a 24.3. Turbo lag was a huge problem by the time the turbo came in I was at my braking cone. It was fairly neutral and no where near as bad as I expected
4/16/09 Carlisle PA Fairgrounds: Bypass valve installed! Lets go run some 23.x laps helmet check, giggling 280z racer check, boost um not so much. I blew the intercooler off. I got it reconnected and realized that absolute power and quick turbo spool corrupt absolutely. The rear of the car never sets the only way to drive it is to never go full throttle until you're sure its hooked up and as soon as you do the car shows you just how wrong you are. I blew the breather out of the valve cover as well. Best time was a 25.9
4/17 Carlisle PA Fairgrounds: Same story except I had no problems the car ran great all day but was never really fast. Best time 26.5 on a damp track.
The shocks should be here soon so a suspension revamp is in the cards before the Park City event on the 7th of June and the car will be on a diet as well. The dual exhaust is coming off along with the PRC equipment. Some other small things as well. Ill post some pictures as soon as they are sent to me.
I dont know, when I was trying to figure out what class I would be in when I first got my car that had a boost controller and k&n, and caster camber plates, they said i'd be in SM just because of the boost controller. I dont know what you will find though, kinda depends on the organization
A boost controler used to bump you to SM however the rule changed this year. I have a feeling that 08 was the last time you'll see ESP dominated by American muscle

Okay late model restoration supply doesnt have the Bullitt kit in stock and um they really have no idea of the interchangeability between our cars and the rest of the ford line up.
Any suggestions as to what I can get for a suspension. The cars first track appearance is June 7.
Does anyone know the length and diameter of the stock springs?
I ordered the Bullitt/FRPP 5400 kit today. This gets me a decent drop, much increased spring rates, and, best of all sn95 front struts with rear shocks that still fit a fox car(perhaps they are longer as well?) Im not too concerned with the sway bars if they fit and work out thicker than the TC ones(anybody know the diameter of TC bars BTW) Ill use them if not Ill have something to sell.
Has anybody ever tried this before? Am I in over my head? I will make this kit work on my car(I have a bit of chassis engineering experience and some decent fab skills) just wondering if its been done before.
