Suspension/Steering / need help/info on fr wheel bearings /88 xr7
i need help and info on replacing the front bearings for both front wheels.im not familar yet with this area of the car, money is tight, and i want to see my options.ive seen the bearings are about 11-12 bucks a piece at the auto parts.but how hard are they to replace?ive searched on here for old threads,noticed people have done them but didn't find anything on how to do it.

so i don't know if to shop it, or do it myself.but it needs to be done very soon, as i drive alot to work.please help.

Electrical Tech / the alert beeping on my 88 xr7
i have the digital dash,and my oil pressure sensor is bad, and that beeping drives me nuts,how can i stop that beeping tempory, till i fix the oil sensor?is there a way to unplug it or disconnect it?

this will help you remove the a/c compressor, and make the alt more adjustable,also so you can run a short belt.

Electrical Tech / oil sensor
im having the same problem,that annoying beeping all the time.sometimes it works and shows oil pressure, the next minute you hear the beep, and shows low pressure.i got a new sender, from advance for like 12 bucks,i haven't installed it yet though.

User Rides / my 88 xr-7 that i got for $360
i got it for 360.it needed a new fuel pump, which i put in already, but it still needs an alignment.its got a fairly new exhaust, the interior is ok,digital dash works, sunroof works, but of course it needs new clips on the driver side window,and body work,but i was happy with the purchase, it starts up every time.

later plans are smog/ac delete, and install the h.o heads and upper h.o intake mainfold i have.

the heads are not on, they are from a mustang gt.i figured the cam did but i wanted to make sure.
