Lounge / Ive been tanted...
DO IIIT! I miss my '02 Trans Am WS6, I had the T56 in it too. LOVE that 6-speed, so solid feeling shift. I plan on buying another one in a few years. I traded my other one for my truck (I needed a 4x4 badly). I like the Firebirds more than the Camaros though. :P

Thanks everyone! I DO plan on painting it still. It has a lot of prep work to go through first though and I want to do it right so I've been putting it off until I have the time and resources to mess with it. Going to be painting it all black for a nice blacked out look with a small touch of chrome.

ha! I was also a Communications (video, audio, and other electronic production) major. I was almost finished with school, but left for full time factory work to support my family. I'm going back in August though but I changed my study to become a middle school teacher instead. There just aren't any jobs anywhere near here for production stuff. Fun study though.

I love my Thundercat. I've actually come to like it more than the old front end. Oddly enough still haven't painted it but people keep telling me to leave it as is and like the two colours, lol. It's got a personality for sure.

Lounge / So I bought a house...
Congrats! We just bought one too, though much smaller at 1274 sqft, but it's a "green" home so its super energy efficient and is on very pretty property on top a hill in the 'burbs near the interstate with a great view. Our closing date was set at March 31st but we aren't going to make it in time since USDA/FAHE and everyone else got wrapped up and busy with this whole tornado mess here (it wiped out an entire town, my wife's hometown, it's completely gone..). Hopefully we get moved in before end of May.. otherwise we are gonna be homeless for a bit! Gotta be outta here before June, and we have nowhere else to go now thanks to the tornadoes.

My TC is my daily driver to work right now for me too, since my other vehicle is a TrailBlazer 4x4. We have an '08 Cobalt which is awesome MPG but I don't drive it to work because my wife can't drive stick and doesn't want to drive a bigger vehicle either (I'm perfectly fine with that too lol). Been having a blast driving around the Tbird. I just hope that my landlord doesn't catch on I have three cars and tow one of them randomly. Luckily we are moving into our own house soon - just waiting to close on it. This gas is ridiculous. I hate paying over $4 a gallon, and I heard it's going to get over $5 this summer here. I'll be looking for a new job after we move too because even if I take a pay cut its still cheaper due to the drive from that city to this one eating up funds.

User Rides / I'm back (Many Pics)
Well, she's on hold again until summer 2012! :punchballs:  Need to get some stuff for our new place we are going to move in to and I need to spend the money on something else (namely a TV). I will fix the rusty spots that need attention right now to slow down the progression of rust until next summer when I might be in a better position to pay to fix it the way I want (I want good paint, etc). Until then.. I've got other stuff to take care of. Happily for me my truck is exactly where I want it right now and I'm thoroughly proud of how it looks right now. :D

One day Thunderbird... one day you'll look great again.

(I love where we are trying to move in to though!)

I don't race or want to so I don't really care about that. I just enjoy my car and forget about everyone else.
