Engine Tech / 302 HO and 302 SO visual difference?
Check out the fuel injectors.  On the HO motor, the 19lb injectors will be topped with orange.  On the SO motor they will be 16lb and they will be topped with gray.

User Rides / I'm new, but not to this hell...
Thanks guys!

I've got alot to do to the car today. Yesterday was all about the headliner, console, and painting the upper quarter trim.  Today, I 'm goint to hopefully finish off the dash cap, front seat belts and finally bolt the seats in.

Then the car gets a much needed three year bath...

User Rides / I'm new, but not to this hell...
Just wanted to say what's up to all the Tbird and Cougar folks out there.  I've been reading alot of the threads here, some good fun and some great pics of the old foxes.  I sure would like to make it to CatJam one year.

Anyways, here's my  interior.  This is my first car, had it for thriteen years now, and this blue interior had had it even by 1995.

Yeah it was bad, and the CD player was ridiculous.. It is extremely hard to find good parts for these cars down here, but lots of yarding and patience is starting to pay off.  I have used a number of Tbird parts but i found a smoked '84 Cougar I was able to get alot of parts out of to help me change from a faded and dirty light blue to a more impressive dark grey.

Here's the progress so far...

In the beginning, there was dirty carpet.

A close up... of broken stuff.

So now we have added some Mach 1 seats, a five speed swap, gray interior, ACC black carpet and a recovered black headliner.  I think the Cougar dash panels with the faux aluminum is going to be trick up against the black accents.    In two days, the car will be put back together and I can't wait to go driving and burn a tank of gas for the first time since '05.

Thanks for putting a dedicated forum out there.  I am glad to be here.  I love all the info available and all the photos people take of the tbirds and cougars being worked on and cared for.  Hope I can contribute.
