I am desperate for a 4 lug, 15 inch turbine rim... One of mine was destroyed a couple months back...I've called everyone junk yard in my area and no one has one... HELP!!!!
See how much it is to ship and let me know... I can paint the inside to match mine... It'll be a close enough match for now.. I found a bullet hole(ford mag like the stangs) mag in a junk yard here in SC.. they wanted 50 for it.. 20 is way fair on the price.. just let me know..
Does anyone have a spare 16 fin 15x7 4 lug turbine rim they would be willing to sell? One of Mine got destroyed last week... I can get it fixed.. but it'll cost me 165.00..And I really wanna get it fixed cause it's original to the car.. 87 20th ann. edition cougar.. So the other alternative is just get another rim.. Let me know... Thanks, Odie
well I bumped the Idle screw up just a tad... tps read 1.02... left it at that...... started it up... it idled... didn't choke down....so crossing my fingers... think I figured out where my oil leak was too... (hoping)...top bolt on smog pump had backed out.... if thats the bolt i'm thinking of..... that goes right into the block and right into an oil jacket or hole whatever they call it... That thinga ma doodle...
well... no smog pump.... pump was about to go out... so I bought a 77" belt... and skipped it... I have no vacuum line on egr...( don't know if that was the right move) .... to cold tonight for me to clean tb assembly.... but, will do tomorrow when it warms up a bit.. for now i'm just gonna bump up the throttle adjust screw... to .98 or 1.0 and see if will get me through the day....
Just run codes KOEO.... 82 air management 1 circuit failure?.... and 84 egr vac regulator circuit failure?....... Once I got on the right track with the tps... I keep forgetting it's the green and black for checking it's setting.... NOT THE RED AND BLACK!!!! DUH!!! Tps... set at .95v At 30 deg.. out side.... I know it was set at .98 back in the summer.... any hints would be greatly appreciated on these two codes.
Idle on my 87 5.0 has gotten really wack... one day it'll idle one day it won't .... new idle air control valve... just replaced o2/ sensors... just drove over twenty miles... car still hot... checked tps sensor.... it's saying 5v... I know better it's only supposed to be .98v... Right?
you wouldn't happen to have an extra woodgrain trim piece for the instrument cluster would ya? and a windshield intermitten wiper switch ..... And seat adjustment switches for center console? if so how much?
the passenger side works fine.... the recline and the regular seat functions aren't working. had to run a jumper from passenger side to get the back of the seat back up.... it had reclined all the way and wouldn't come back up.. got any advice ? getting power at the switches. no power at the motors..
87 mercury cougar 20th ann. edition I need trim bezel that goes around instrument cluster ( wood grain) windshield wiper switch column mount. seat control switches that mount in the console right in front of arm rest. And a vacuum block ... mine broke a tit off
Does anyone know if there is a circuit breaker type fuse in the fuse box that supplies power to the seats on an 87 mercury cougar... mine is a 20th ann. edition and has all bells and whistles for the seats... but, they have quit working... Is it just a normal fuse or one of the metal breaker fuses.
