Hey guys i got a aftermarket water temp gauge i wanna put in the tbird. Where do i hook it up? Does it hook into the intake manifold? Btw its a 1981 tbird with a carb 302.
Im using silicon gasket on the waterpump, maybe it didnt hold. Im gunna tear it back apart and retry. There wasn't any threads there for a bolt. Would it hurt anything if i put some silicon in them two holes?
So i was just putting the final touches on the ole tbird and got a problem. I filled up the radiator and noticed i have water sittin on the top of the timing cover. i see theres two holes where the water is coming from. are there suppose to be bolts there or some sort of plugs? in the first pic its the two holes that are across from one another. the little holes are what im talkin about. hey everyone i wanna drop the front of my bird just a inch or so. I cant find a kit for 1981 birds. I was wondering if springs from a mustang would work.

Ive asked on several forums and they have all suggested to get rid of the torker. Btw i already have bbk shorties on it. And am hoping to pick up some gears soon too. Thanks for all the help.
Hey everybody i got a couple questions. Im replacing gaskets in my tbird in a couple weeks and need some input on my intake carb setup. Ok so the motor is a 88 roller cam bottom end and on top i have gt40p heads and a torker II intake and with a holley 4 barrel. Now last summer the car was really poochy. I was told that if i put a 4 hole carb spacer on it will help incredibly. I was told either the spacer or get a dual plane intake. What are your inputs on this. I was going to build the motor all out but with no job moneys tight and I need to get the bird running by spring.
havnt been on in quiet a while..yeah you arnt that far from me....right now need to get a timing cover gasket and a carb spacer and it should be runnin decent again..currently lookin for a job otherwise it woulda been fixed already if i was working..
