Gotta check my settings here, it's not letting me know of any replies to this thread!

I'm still doing these liners and will do so until the end of time I think!

The 1/4 inch thick liner is made from an aircraft firewall material and insulated against heat AND sound. Plus it won't deteriorate and come apart like the stock liner. Both my 97 Thunderbird Limited Edition and 97 Mark VIII LSC have the liner and silver decal and have held up great. The liner just doesn't get dirty, it doesn't soak up any underhood fluids or lubricants. The side that faces out is smooth and is where the decal goes, the back side is the closed-cell material and adheres to the hood with 3M #80 spray adhesive after the underhood is wiped down with a degreaser.

And here I am, back after a little hiatus.

A big hello and thanks to Dan for posting the link to my blogspot page for my liners. Yours will be coming soon, just need to get the 2 decals in from my supplier.

I do remember Mark and his 86 TBird, but I never heard back from him after I made him the liner. I'd like to see pics of the engine bay now!

Hi Vantage08 - by all means, I can do any car, I just need a template made from the original to do it - it's very easy to do and involves a shower curtain from a dollar store like "Dollar Tree". Contact me via e-mail and I can send you the procedure. Let me know of you need a decal; right now I don't have anything for the Pontiacs.

I can offer liners for the 2002 through 2005 Thunderbirds as well.

It's not installed, this one was shipped out last week - the owner will put it in later on. The silver decal is shown with the application tape and the backing, it's not installed yet either, that's up to the owner to decide where it goes.
