i agree it should but and probably will the next time out when i actually get to plan it instead of driving by and deciding to try it rite then so i will have my truck with on board air and stuff to adjust air pressure and get my chargin problem fixed so that it aint idling all day either lol oooooops it happens
Well went to the track saturday to see what the cougar had. Well the old motor has 195262 miles on it at the time of the race. I have put in a new tranny that is slightly upgraded, a rear shock tower brace, and a strut tower brace. The only other upgrade would be a tune up with better coil and plug wires. Was able to make three passes during time trials first was a 12.13, next was 12.36, then a 12.09. I did my dial in at 12.07 and broke out with a 11.93. This was an 1/8th mile track. However I was not the slowest entry of the day. There was a dodge diesel 6-speed crew cab that ran 12.65. Reckon I got long way to improve lol. Anyhow it didnt go home on a trailer and still took girlfriend to work on Monday. Dont laugh too much I plan on continuing to work on the car. Thanks for listening.
Well made it back from Iraq in Febuary. Been keeping busy plugging away at little things. The car is running well. Got new struts and shocks and braces at both ends really stiffened up the car.:burnout: Did an ignition upgrade also and made lots of difference. Ain't sure what is next but it is a fun project. Just thought i would let yall know i was still kicking round.
