I learned along time ago never name a car after a girlfriend or a wife. Sooner or later they might end up being an EX. Unless of course the car is a bitch and so is your ex
Don't mean to be too critical on it as it is a nice looking ride. But it is at the point it needs SFC and a Roll Bar, before it becomes tiwsted and the doors don't shut. That C4 tranny is not going to take a lot of beating.
Lose the header wrap if you want the headers to last. It causes mositure entrapment and the headers will rust. If you are worried about heat, coating are much more effective.
The base of the windshield is a high pressure area so it's a good source of air for induction or cooling.
Contrast that with the factory 87-88 scoops, they're positioned in a low pressure area and not shaped optimally for air flow.
Yes this is true. The only correct way to run a cowl induction hood is to use a plate to seal off rest of engine compartment so that only the air goes to the air filter. If it is not then the air enters the engine compartment and is pushed against the firewall and follows it down and under the car. Since I am not running a carb with an air filter, but need the added height, a blocked cowl is better for me. The factory hood scops are a re-styling of a true NACA duct had they used them then they would have been more efficient.
