Misc Tech / Re: A Few A/C Part Questions
The HR980 setup makes sense for the time because air conditioning was still an option. The easiest way to have that is to just slap a compressor on the accessory setup.
Are you running R134A or R12? The NOS liquid lines will have a blue (R12) orifice tube, the new ones will have an orange (R134a).
You don't want a NOS accumulator as that has a desiccant pack in it. They go bad over time.
You bought a piccolo condenser. They're better than the tube/fin condenser that originally came in it but a parallel flow is better.

Here is the 3511.

Dealer option used an FS6 compressor. Factory is HR980 -at least for '83.

That's a factory condenser (the original was tube/fin).

What website are you using to do interchange? Rockauto shows 2 lines for the 3.8/5.0. Factory or dealer air.

Edit: That was on reference to Eric's post. Forum quote isn't working on mobile apparently.

Misc Tech / Re: Correct Serpentine Belt and Tensioner Numbers?(56k warning)
Maybe Eric can point you to a NOS source.
Will a later idler bracket bolt to your FEAD?

Misc Tech / Re: Correct Serpentine Belt Number
I forgot coolcats had a part number section for some things and E2SZ-8620-E is the number shown for v6 no a/c belt. Searching around leads me to jk6-782 for that one.
Now im confuse.

The all in one FS6 setup is 96".
There is also a dealer AC option of 91.5"
No AC is 77.5"
The most common belt naming convention is"K". That is the section size. Then "6", that's the number of ribs, and "XXX" where is the length in inches or mm.
A K6805 is a K section, 6 ribbed, 80.5" long belt.
Other companies may call it a K060805, etc.

Suspension/Steering / Re: Electric Power Steering Pump
Does the kit eliminate the low pressure due to limp mode that is mentioned in the corral thread you linked?
I wish they'd make an EPAS racks for the Foxes. Or maybe they do now since I haven't looked into it lately.
