as said once....the AOD need solid connection and must be stroked through the whole motion of the throttle...it is a TV system (THROTTLE VALVE) and kickdown is just for c4/c6
Accualy the C5 has a messed up centrifugal lockup system...real gay. i HIGHLY suggest swappping the C5 vb out for a C4 unit and the C4 bell....that is the best stock option you can do :)

The good: - All amenitites excpet alarm work - all! - No brake trouble, no engine trouble - well taken care of - Trans - PATC 2600 Stall, Alto clutches, A OD servo, Modded VB (Baumann) has about 5000 miles on it. Makes the car much fun to drive. - Headman headers - great air ride, replaced 1000 miles ago. others things I am forgeting, nothing super.
The not so good: - Paint needs attention on the front fenders only...no peeling anywhere else. - rear bushings could use some attention - misc shopping cart dings and only one rust spot. - no tailpipes, dumps at axel
