I am looking to procure a set of turbine rims w/o tires for my cougar i am willing to ship or possibly pick up provided you dont like too far away from norht dakota all the ones i can find in my state are all over $300 wayyy to much
Ive got a turbo coupe hood on lockdown how do i duct it for my 5.0 can i reuse the airbox from the TC i dont think it will fit. But i dont want the hood if the scoops are useless my whole reasoning behind it is for the cooler charge temp and the ram air part of it.
So my transmission started making this funny noise today so i freaked out and started calling around trying to find one. well as it turns out since i work at napa i can get a brand new clutch and flywheel for $238 and change and that the guy i bought the car from has three t-5s and everything i will need to swap in a manual trans SWEET. So i wanted to know is it possible to keep the hydraulic clutch from the TC and put it in the cougar any other thing i sould be aware of before i try this job i want to really do my homework here. The interior stuff is moot right now i can make it look good later but i need it to go.
I found a set of the turbine rims in a junkyard near where i live just kinda stumbled upon them but the guy wants $300 bucks for em. I just dont know, are they worth that? especially since in the future i will be converting to 5 lug.
Did my nightshades tinting and put them back on the car like 5 minutes ago those taillight lenses are hot. also just put in some blue lighted pedals and three blue LEDs in the cubby over my head unit cant wait for nightfall
I currently work at a NAPA and can get a full dynomax exhaust for the 88 muatang with emissions compliant headers so no cats but will the rest of the exhaust fit my 88 cougar?
I have a 351w for sale if anyone is interested.I built it for my 79 mustang but then the unthinkable happened i got T-boned and totaled my car.The engine has maybe 3000 miles on her. I was able to save my tranny and motor before insurance took it. Anywayz it is a 1976 block with the following... Bored .030 over Weiland stealth intake Shorty headers Ported and polished New gaskets and seals top to bottom Everything magnafluxed Heads have 3-angle grinds Stock crank(polished)and cam Dished pistons Oil pan adapted for fox bodies Chrome fordmotorsport valve covers and matching Air cleaner
I started working at NAPA two weeks ago, huzzah for me, and i saw a powerdyne supercharger for the mustang 5.0 9psi, but i get it for plus 10% so i will cost like $2750. Is this too much.
I've seen pics of the fenderwell intakes and they look really hard to get to like you have to take the fender off first. Am i off base here? And if i am where can i get one.
I was getting into my cougar for a night of , well ungoodliness. and the god turn signal lever got caught on my pant leg so now i bent the sh#t out of it anyone got a replacement one, preferabley with the billet or chrome look. I had one in my grand marquis that was great.
I hate the winters in North Dakota, our winters have been compared to friggin siberia's. This yeah has been mild too i just want it to warm up to about 50 for like a week so i can get some sh#t done on the cougar.
