T-Bird/Cougar Parts & Cars FOR SALE / 1987 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe - Atlanta, Georgia
Hello,  Thanks for the complements... You are right,  we did spend countless hours working on this car.  I have 2 young sons that want to be engineers so this is what we enjoy doing.  But more so,  we got this car from a good friend who had it since new and it had been sitting in his garage for many years and was one phone call away from either the junk yard or charity donation.  The fate of the car was pretty clear and given it was a one owner with all the dospoogeentation and it's history we wanted to do what we can to save it.  So this became my younger son't first car.  We did almost all the work at home learning from the forums and from friends and some had to be done at a shop as we don't have a lift or paint booth.  But it was a great learning experience.  Now we have more cars than we have room for and some cirspoogestances have changed where we may not be able to keep driving the car as much.  So it's much better to let it go on to a new home where we hope it will be used and enjoyed and cared for as it should be.  Until it sells for what we need back out of it,  we will certainly do our best to enjoy it!  :)

Body/Appearance/Interior / 1987 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe Shift
I posted a similar thread on the NATO message board and was directed to an older thread that contains the part number of a shift  that looks similar to the original shift s that came on the '87 TC. The part number is XR3Z-7213-BA.

The thread with the shift  comparisons can be found here-

Later on in the thread the shift  with the XR3Z-7213-BA part number is compared to the original TC shift .
