whats going on every one i took a 7oo mile trip to h-town to go help my fam race there 96' stang at the fun ford weekend and i only saw one t-bird there and it was for sale wahts the deal where all the birds at guys i was a lil disapointed just wondering why no one attended my bird would have been there if it had a motor and tranny but i will be there next year competing in the true street challenge 12 o's hopefully
hey guys whats going i needed to ask a question about cam timing i was messing around with my desk top dyno and i found that if retard my timing 4 degrees i will pick up 10 ponies what is involved in this and is it worth it thanks
it is the e303 cam and i am using the ho lifters i taped the block for the spider hold down i have been educated on the reduced base circle and we agreed that the e303 cam didnt have enough lift to cause any real problems like raising out of the lifter bore to much popping the guides off but by all means educate me some more i am always looking to learn more about any thing and thanks for the geometry lesson i will check that tomarrow thanks every one
oh yeah not sure if this helps any but i did install the e303cam and roller lifters and stock stud mount rocker arms with the short push rods and it fit now that i put screw in studs guide plates and roller rockers the push rods are to short thanks again every one
whats up every one recently i turned my 68 casting engine to efi and roller setup but the 6.272 pushrods are to short i think it is because i am using 1.7 roller rockers, guides, and screw in studs. i took a measure ment and it says i need a push rods about 6.43 but i didnt have the head gasket on but i believe that my gasket is .045 thickness its a standard fel pro so correct me if i am wrong so if i add that to my length i would need 6.475 so would a 6.500 pushrod be safe thanks for all the help you guys

so i should get ride of the tarmat as well i sed it in the trunk and sprayed down some gravitex its like a light duty bedliner what is a good way to get it off the floor cause it sucked ripping out of the trunk
it might weigh more then that it was just a guesstamate i mean it is not like it was quiet before but i had the pipes exiting right in front of my rear tires and now the pipes will cut off right at the axle and it is my everyday car sometimes i got to drive it kinda far sometimes 40 to 50 miles over there then back so if i cal loose a lil wieght and keep the sound down that would be great
ok every one here is the deal i have my car gutted completly the only thing left in there is the steering column. I pulled the carpet and relized it weighed like 40 to 50 pounds i belive most of the weight is the insulation dedening . My question is if i pulled all the insulation off of the carpet and put a layer of fat mat down on the ground instead would that be good enough to quiet down the ride or is the insulation a must. I have heard real good things about fat mat my buddie says it is a good insulater as well but he only has it in his trunk so i am not to sure. I am just trying to lighten the ride a lil bit 50 sq feet of fat mat only weighs 12 pounds. Let me know what you all think is the best route to go here. THANKS
hey that sounds like a good plan but i got a few questions would i do the same for my 84' t-bird if i were to use fox mustang shocks and springs and also the spring do you know the part number on the spring perches i see some but i think they are lower perches thanks for the time and how to
i was wondering if any one could tell me what ohms my 84' 3.8l fuel sending unit is i do not believe that my gauges are elctric i only have the speedo and the fuel guage thanks for the help
