should be:  a screw on each end on the outside of the dash, one or two on the top, and a few under the lip of the pad. then you have to pull it loose from the clips that is probably where you are thinking there are more screws just be gentle and dont try ripping it out or you will have problems,  I remember having the same problem on dads 83 TC.

I dont know much about rack and pinion steering but here is what I have.  sometimes it feels like my power steering is ok then it feels like I have none then tonight it feels like manual.  could my pump be going bad? it whined for a while and now it makes no noise and there is no power  fluid is full. please help

solved.....    found a bolt holding my intake valve open on #1 cylinder.  what happened was whenI changed valve cover gaskets I dropped a bolt and I didnt know at the time where it had gone.  so what I figured was that it bounced off of the valve cover and into the intake.  could of been costly if I didnt work in a shop and have engine parts laying around

I have found a really good carpet cleaner,  its called blue max its a napa brand  but it works really good cleaned grease out of my blue carpet.  give it a try
