Engine Tech / ignition timing 2.3t
Set your base timing to 10-12 degrees with the spout OUT.  Put the spout back in and check to make sure the computer is advancing the timing.

Lounge / Court, or pay the fine and move along?

Cliff's notes:

Then he moved his little bird watching campaign to just up the road where he was hidden behind some brush in my fencerow that I've been unable to find time to cut down.

Pay the ticket and move on.
If the LEO truly has a poor attitude, and is verbally abusive while doing his job, it should be brought up to his superior. Just expect him to be an even bigger dick after you do though.
On a side note, if he's parked on your private property again, ask to leave next time you see him there.

T-Bird/Cougar Parts & Cars FOR SALE / Parting out 84 and 88 TC's
Well, I did receive the parts I paid for, and they arrived in good condition. They were packed quite well in plastic wrap and spray foam, so the chances of damage were practically nil. It did take me a while to extract them from the package however.

Engine Tech / 2.3 cooling line pics
Lakenheath24, running the factory heat exchanger certainly won't hurt a thing. If it's already there, leave it in place.  An oil-to-air cooler, when properly plumbed and thermostatically controlled, would certainly be better than the factory unit. Certainly not A MILLION TIMES better, but better.  If you're going to run a turbo with no center section cooling, without an auxillary cooler or heat exchanger, at least put in an oil temp gauge to monitor the oil. If you find the temp running higher than you're comfortable with, put a cooler/heat exchanger on it.

Wait just a minute!!!! No one said to not run center section cooling!!!! We dont use the oil cooler because it does not work. Not only on TC motors on any chevy that has headers you remove the cooler/warmer as well. If you want it it is placed in the return line on the 5/8 heater return to the water neck.

He asked about running a Holset turbo, 99% of them don't have center section cooling.
