Electrical Tech / Gremlins, dinger not working and blinkers acting funny
Thanks for the follow up guys. I swapped clusters and the issue persists with the bulbs, swapped dinger and now is audible.
In the near future I'm doing a custom set of gauges and thinking of doing a universal rewire kit as my current harness scares me. Lots of bare places where mice chewed on it in the barn (previous life before I got it).

I have an extra set of housings, think I might try this. Right now I feel unsafe cruising at night, had more than a couple close calls with some deer. One example was 3 in the road and I had to zig between them, luckily none moved.

What do you guys think of the kit they have for the 9007 bulbs? Also do I need to drill and mount a Projector housing in the center of my headlight assembly? I know it says works with OEM housing but? Trying to wrap my head around this. I already stripped and cleaned the headlights which helped alot but compared to my 2002 ranger it leaves much to be desired. Another option I was looking at was a harness sold by rjminjection that puts 14volts to the headlights. Its 80 vs 200 but which would be best in performance.

Misc Tech / Capping Radiator
I will never use the one in the radiator again after a horrid experience with my GF's car. Her trans went out so I bought a new one and her dad put it in as I didn't have time. 2 weeks later it died, so I looked at it and the brass insert in the rad end was cracked which sucked water into the trans. Granted I'd known this if I'd looked the first time but ya, screwed myself over. I think a 50 dollar external with fan as cheap insurance now.

Engine Tech / No Idea where this stuff goes
Bigger hose on vacuum tree goes to bigger line off back of intake. Small line off front of intake used to be for charcoal canister, cap it. Small line off rear of intake heading towards passenger side is for fuel pressure regulator I think. Brass barb off intake goes to PVC I think.

That looks like for EGR or Heater Vac source to me

Also I think the grey plug fits the blue plug.

If you just want a V8 swap, compare price of shipping car and repair to price of another mustang.
I like the SVO look though and would totally snag it. But I have a 2.3t that needs a home also :P

Drivetrain Tech / AOD vs 4r70w, which for my bird?
For 1200 I can get a complete computer and harness from painless. Injectors and intake on me though. MS is pretty cheap also. EEC Tuning looks to be on par with MS for the cost. The Mass-Flo is supposed to be hands off which is what is appealing to me (Scared of Electrical widgets for some reason)

Are you running FAST on your car? I don't know anyone that has personal experience with it.

T-Bird/Cougar Parts & Cars FOR SALE / 88 Turbocoupe Engine (rebuilt)
I have an engine out of an 88 Turbocoupe, the rebuild has less than 10,000 miles on the engine. Engine is missing upper intake and TB. (can get them from pile probably) Looking to get 600. Let me know if you have any questions.

User Rides / My 88 TC build
Goal: Custom built car that I can call mine. Mostly want off idle to mid throttle accell and handling.

I just ordered 500 dollars worth of suspension stuff, which I will try to get on there in the next month. It costs me a minimum of 120 in gas just to make it to my Dad's shop, so it looks like it is going to be hit or miss for awhile on it. Bad thing is I've only had this car about 3 years and have probably put over 10k in it in the form of motors/transmissions lol, and thats just in parts as we do 99% of everything at the shop.

Current Setup:
331 Stroker (Carb'd)
3.73 Gears
C4 (full manual reverse VB)
255 Wahlbro FP
2 1/2 exhaust
March Pulleys for PS and Alt. (don't fit worth  and not sure why)
