Some of you have seen my other thread about me getting a good deal on this car but i figure i'll post up a pic thread about it. Its a base model 1981 thunderbird 3.3 straight 6, no cruise or pw, pl and has only an AM radio only option it has is AC. I am the 3rd owner of it now. Once i get it cleaned up and detailed i will post up some more pics
its my daily driver, i'm eventually going to put some black turbines on it and give it a good detail job. i have put 36,000 miles on it since i have had it and other than eating two fuel pumps and an alternator it has served me reliably
oh no i wasnt trying to sell it, i was/did buy it turns out the elderly gentleman was going to DONATE it to charity. It runs and drives good, the float on the fuel sending unit acts up after it gets to half a talk it drops to E and it needs a new valve cover gasket. oh and it has an AM radio, thats it no cassette no FM. Has non power windows but has power locks. I dont know what happened to the hood ornament either but i'm going to replace it probably, this is going to be a backup daily driver to my cougar. Oh and i got it for...................$400 bucks here is another pic, it needs a good detail job
alright here it is my screen namesake. 88 LS cougar with the dreaded 3.8 V6 and yes i bought it for cheap because it had a blown headgasket but i got that fixed. Bone stock and gets about 25-27 mpg average, on a trip on the highway i got 29.5. The handcuffs on the rearview are just a decoration its dirty and in a field but i was out shooting
I found this for sale where i live, 1981 Thunderbird 3.2 I-6, 115,000 original miles, looks all original even has factory radio and hubcaps, girl i talked to said it runs and drives good, the price?? try $500
yes i collect guns, i'm mostly into bolt action rifles but i also like AK's and AR15's, i just picked up a columbian 7mm mauser for a decent price on GB and a turkish mauser
