Lounge / Georgia...
I'm not too far either; about 15 mins north of Winston salem.  Martinsville is maybe a 45 minute - 1 hour trip from here.

Hahahaha, I guess whatever comes around goes around ;)

Actually, the only problem with the way my Tbird drives is a slight hesitation when you nail the gas (hey...I don't do it all that much... ).  It sometimes gives a slight jerk.  Anybody know what could cause that?  Dirty injectors or something like that maybe?

EDIT:  oooooooo, pretty

Good, good.  Well, it's time to check the first part off the list of conversion parts cause we just got an HO upper intake on ebay for $5.50 (plus shipping, unfortunately haha).  1 part down...lots to go...

Hahaha yeah, it's all cool.  I like almost any kind of American muscle car.  There's nothing like the sound of an old American V8 roaring as it slams you in the seat.

UPDATE:  Dad and I just scored our first 5.0 conversion part on ebay:  a Mustang 5.0 HO upper intake manifold for $5.50.  Woo hoo!

For me, it really depends on the car.  On some cars, it looks terribly ugly, but it looks nice on others.  As for your dad's Chevelle, I think it would look fine either way.  It's a good looking car.  Who knows, maybe we'll both get to drive Chevelles to our senior proms?  :D

PS - my dad says he'd remove the vinyl top haha

Yeah, we're going to get all the pieces on that list before we do the conversion.  Might as well do it right the first time :) .

Body/Appearance/Interior / Functional turbo coupe scoops on a 5.0?
My Tbird is an EFI, and it has an air intake box on the passenger side quarterpanel, I believe.  The hood we got even came with the scoop tunneling and stuff on the underside where it would put air directly into the 4cyl, and I was just wondering if there is anyway to re-route it for the 5.0.
