General Computer Forum / Forum cookies not being rembered on HP Touchpad (this site only)
Cookies are created by a server header in the HTTP response.  There is of course an API (Application Programming Interface) for the creations of cookies, in this case PHP.  If the cookie is to be "remembered", it must have a valid expiration date, which the browser should then use to save the cookie as a file locally.  You might look at your Touchpad and verify that permanent cookies have not inadvertently gotten disabled for this particular site.  Another thing that the Admins could look into is the version of PHP being used anf the resulting browser handling, e.g. how does the server respond if or when it doesn't recognize the browser or user agent.

Have you thought about a nice set of the Lincoln headlights that swap over to the Cougar? I see them quite often on Ebay.

Can you provide a link to the ones you are referring to?  As far as I know, these aero headlamps are the same for Cougars, 'Birds and Lincoln LSCs.  If there is a source for another lamp assembly, it might be well worth looking into, seeing as these are getting awfully difficult to locate.

For my part, having had hard times myself, all is forgiven.  We have all had bad days when we say or do things we come to regret.  I hope your situation improves and I wish you the very best. If I can help in any way, I would be my honor to do so.

With the 4-eye header and the aero lower, she looks like she has a lower lip issue, like Buford "Bubba" Blue in Forest Gump

I do have the stock grill as well that will be going back on

The car itself is nice enough, but the grill isn't.  I am sure that there are those that like it just fine... but am I wrong about the comparison with the fiat 500?

With the cut coils, I see a couple of issues, not the least of which is the excessive negative camber and of course the resulting bump steer.  A better way to achieve this amount of lowering, if that is what is desired, is to use drop spindles in addition to mild uncut lowering springs.  Not only would this solution provide a better ride, but would allow proper alignment, minimize bump steer and prevent or greatly reduce improper tire wear.

Grounds, in an of themselves are not the cause of the RF interference heard through a sound system.  Improper RF shielding within the sound systems and unfiltered power feeds are the root cause.  I am with Tom here, with regard to the chassis ground.  If one were to look closely, our cars get their battery ground from the chassis directly or to the block and then to the chassis. This is generally the case with most unit body cars, such as ours.  When dealing with either a framed car or one with rubber isolated subframes, extra steps must be taken to ensure that the chassis and the body of the car at at the same ground potential, usually through braided grounding straps.
