Ah you flatlanders :P

I don't even bother trying to drive my Thunderbird in winter. Besides the fact that it has no heat, I wouldn't make it anywhere.

Just this last week we had a storm, and my tempo with snow tires had a hard enough time making it around, and that was even avoiding the really steep hills. I still couldn't make it up the road to my apartment.

Plus with my bird I often have a hard enough time keeping the tires from spinning on hills when it's wet outside.

So yeah, not even gonna risk that.

it's pretty hilly round these here parts too.  lol.:hick:

i took her out for the first time today.  there was no snow on the ground, but a little bit of ice on my neighborhood streets.  she did just fine.  i drove my wifes car the other day in the snow.  it's an 06 pontiac g6 gt.  the traction control on that thing is a joke.  i'd rather not even have it there at all.

here's what i had to take care of while she was warming up.

and my truck is under there somewhere too.

I dont think you should be in the red anymore:D
I  cant even add to your reputation either.  I wonder if everyone adds to your reputation, it would take the red away.  It is kinda unique though!

hahaha!  i've stopped caring.  thanks anyway... it's a lovely thought.:D

for the rest of the coments...

i'll deffinitely look into a set of snow tires.  i hear that the bridgestone blizzaks are really good... at $94 a piece, they'd better be.

as for the 4wd ranger... i'd love to, but i don't have the room and my wife would kill me if i bought another vehicle.:hick:

Hopefully it is a 5spd then you can just take off in 2nd that will help. I know once down here we got 12" of snow and I got around in myTC just fine. It is all in how you drive and how many morons are out with you.

yessir, she's a 5-speed.

If you don't have decent tires....forget it.

I can get by with decent all season tires, but don't try and get anywhere fast.

it's got new tires on it, but i was actually thinking of getting a set of snow tires for it.

it's got to be better then the ranger.  i drove that my first winter here and that thing is a joke in the snow!

That's a nice bird.  To much if ya ask me but it's nice.

I hope you don't get bitched at too.  Maybe no one else will notice it isn't in the leads section.

:D

that's actually not that bad a price.

i looked at the title of the sections and thought that the leads section was for "stuff" not whole cars.  oh well, if it's in the wrong section, it can easily be moved with no problem.

Lounge / Oh snow.....
we had our first snow on wednesday morning.  it wasn't enough to do anything about and didn't stick.  it's snowing again this morning, but i doubt we'll even get an inch.  i'm going to pick up a set of snow tires for both of the cars (turbocoupe and the g6) sometime next week.  i'll get some pretty pictures when we get a good snow.

Lounge / Going to be in Fort Wayne Indiana
i was in ft. wayne a few years back.  i was picking up an svo for a buddy of mine and i towed it back down to florida for him.  i was surprised to see how CLEAN that place was.

I think somebody need to replace that flag.

And the pic's are great for $170

that was my only gripe about those pictures was the flag being torn.  i told them about it and they're going to replace it.
