There is an awesome sleeper where I live, 80s Volvo Wagon with a Turbo'd LSX. If he didn't have a 1320 Video decal or an LSX badge you would never know until he really gets into the throttle. I've seen it many times and it took me along time to figure out it was even modded like that, today is when I figured out it was turbocharged. He got all over it and I could hear it spool and the Blow Off Valve.
I know its a GM vehicle, but a Pontiac Solstice with the Aluminum LS7 427(7.0L) from a Z06. I've always wanted to put an LS7 in an 80s S-10, or a Terminator motor in a Ranger. I want my '53 Chevy to be a sleeper, but I know I will make that thing sharp all the way around.
Those tails look amazing!!! I've read through your interior light, and this thread. I have very little knowledge of L.E.D.s but I badly want to convert my '84s bulbs to L.E.D.s. My only real experimentation is with the tower LED bulbs you can buy from superbrightleds.com or the strips you can cut and solder together on ebay.
The title is locked in a fire safe, and the car actually isn't in the town I'm living. I have it stored somewhere. The car is going nowhere without money in hand.
I have a '55 Willys Sedan I'm selling, it's posted on a website that pretty much only people in Kansas use. I haven't seen listings from anywhere else since the company is a Kansas based company. Anyway I get a text about said vehicle from a New York number saying that they want to buy the car, will have someone ship it for them, to pull the listing and that they want my PayPal address to send payment. I've received replies to any text I've sent. I lied saying I didn't have a PayPal to see if it was a spam type thing. They are insisting on paying through PayPal. I could pull the funds asap if they are indeed sent. Is there anyway this could really go wrong for me? I'm kinda weirded out.
If I'm not at work or spending time with my kids, I like to fish, play video games, read, and work on the Cougar or my truck. Lately I've been customizing my two toddlers' powerwheels, and trying to learn more about L.E.D.s. I do a lot of dreaming about my cars, my future tattoo plans and business ideas. I read a lot online and do a lot of research about my vehicles, my guns and try to keep up on important events, not the News Channels cover. I watch Netflix on my 360 while surfing the net. Trying to go back to school and finish my bachelors, 24 year old single father of two doesn't make it easy to get a lot done.
Just browsing on Summit for new shocks and struts for the time I install my Caster/Camber Plates. Their options are KYB and Monroe that I would go with. What are everyones opinions and experiences?
That is sooooo sick!!! I've wanted to convert my interior lights for a very long time, but do not know enough about L.E.D.s to do what you have done. I'm trying out some stuff with L.E.D.s on my kids' powerwheels.
I bought a set of 03 Mach 1 Spindles for dirt cheap because the car was totaled, and they only have 12k miles on them. I will be doing this same kind of swap, are the Mach 1 spindles gonna give me any trouble or is it just the bump steer kit that I will be spending extra money on?
Trim that bad boy up a bit on the sides to give it an easy edge to glass it on with, and it should be a pretty easy project. Flip it, cut out the framework and the skin where the new piece is and form the framework to fit the new and should be ready to roll.
