I am going to be forced to replace my oil pan soon,,, its given me no choice. its rusting out. during my "Jumped time" project" i found out where my majority of oil leak was. Two pin holes on the pass and one on the drivers side. I mixed up some super sauce of epoxy and putty and jbweld and its holding for now. seems to be what everyone else is doing for a somewhat semi long term repair.
In the meantime i am looking for a oil pan from someone so i can "make" it into a two piece pan, This will help "future proof" so to speak the ease of which it is to access the bottom end in the future. Anyone with a pan can call 304 772 4082 and ask for scott.
i put this thread here because i know there will be questions. I have found a sheet steel product that is "H" shaped which is the key to enable this idea to move forward. if this has already been done then pls share cause i will need all the help i can get. Overall this will be an easy project to achieve. Sketch up available if needed and i will likely do a vid on it at "i fix it all" on youtube. Its my belief this solves a burden us fox body people have.

roll the Karman Ghia back into the garage and wrap up component replacement behind the dash, wire up and get it running so i can move on to paint.. I restored the car migrating from the "INSIDE" then to the outside.
You never want to do a rear window replacement on a Ghia or any window with an "H" shaped rubber gasket surround EVER!!!
It is a work of art using a long wire and lubrication to install. Problem is the only people who know about this are either dead or on thier way so i had no supervision or guidance as to how to do it. the wife and i struggled but we got it.
I looked but couldn't find 'em. Fairly sure I had some out there. Doubt they'd get swiped when there's much more valuable wheels and other stuff LOL.
I have some stuff at the other farm...it is possible they're there.
Regards to your question...I don't know until I see em. I CAn tell you though, they're the real deal from way back in the day, not the new ones made now by LMR or whatnot.
I'll do a little digging around this weekend, see if I can come up with something for ya.
I DO have a really nice set of ten holes with tires that I have no need for...
Dont worry about it, im not in any rush for this. Im still trying to put money aside for the tires since that is going to run around 2000 bucks itself. The only other rims i was considering are the phone dials since i like them.
Since its snowing now and im not really working on the car or driving in it my winter plans are to scan some of the ford and tbird literature i have piled up for whoever it might help or might be interested in it.
