T-Bird/Cougar Parts & Cars WANTED / Looking for 83-84 center console plate (non-power seats)

As the Tbird gets painted here soon, I am also pulling the power seats out of the car and would like to try and find a good condtion center console plate that just has the window controls and the mirror joystick.

Anyone? Anyone?

General Fox T-Bird/Cougar Discussion / Teaser on one of my current projects..

Hey guys. Just a couple pics of one of my current projects....an IRS for a Fox-chassied car.

This is the "pre-production" mock-up. We're still getting things added to it and getting all the bends and notch angles, etc sorted out before we build the "real" one (thus the butted together tubes you see). We still have a fair bit to do, and the next task is to get the differential mounts located.

No details on whether we might produce them or not, but we'll make at least 2

(one for my car and one for his). It is a totally new geometry..not a rehashed Cobra set-up. We are planning on making use of the Cobra spindles for now.

General Fox T-Bird/Cougar Discussion / Weatherstrip..anyone have part numbers?

Hey guys, I'm doing some research into what it might take to get some new replacements for some of the rubber weatherstip items that we really have no replacement for on the Tbirds/Cougars. Think along the lines of what the Fox Mustang guys have.
Anyway, I know nothing yet, but my contact asked for some factory part numbers. Basically 83-86 and 87-88.

Anyone have that info?

If anyone happens upon any decent 80-82 Cougar XR-7 (it has to be an XR-7 if it's a Cougar...the rest were the smaller Fairmont platform) or 80-82 Tbird parts (body and interior) drop me a line. I'm looking for a few items. (front bumper cover, driver door, dash pad, TBird dash facia (black))

Trying to round up a few items now.

Would prefer in close vecinity of Indy.

I'm looking for a trunk lid and rear bumper cover in good condition for my '83.
Looking for something reasonable driving distance from Indianapolis.
