1985 5.0L Ford Mustang LX

In the process of converting the front to '90 specs, just need fenders to finish, has a brand new 4" Harwood cowl, Dech body kit and Saleen wing on a rust free hatch.  also has a 2.5" H-pipe with flowaster exhaust.  and uninstalled brand new SFC's.  New tires.  runs decent but needs work. frames are solid but the floor pans have been patched and need to be replaced, IMO. Choke doesn't work right on the carb...
Video of it running:
Revving with Flowmasters
asking $2000 or best offer  will throw in a BRAND NEW Edelbrock RPM Air Gap intake for $2000.  must sell as another car I want has been brought to my attention.

The new intake:

it's up on GTAMC now....  you know the car bro...;)  The guy just PMed, me asking if I would be intrested in it, and I am!.  Just gotta get the cash together now.
This is the car that caught my attention::shakeass:

87 t-bird was a 4 cylinder turbo now has a rebuilt 5.0L with a 5 speed t-5 conversion. Body is solid barely any rust, underneath is mint. Has mustang computer and harness, needs fuel pump relay  Car is not running, it has brand new gas tank, and fuel pump, motor has edelbrock performer intake, headman shorty headers, dual electric fan conversion, ford racing valve covers,  all new gaskets in entire motor. Tranny has been rebuilt and brand new centerforce clutch with double hook steeda quadrant and firewall adjuster, and b&m short shifter. Car has not been driven since all these parts, its worth it to fix or if you have a stang most parts fit. Car has 156,000kms  Interior is dark gray and silver leather optional rare interior front seats are same as mustang GT. Also rear end is 8.8" posi with 3.73's and rear discs. First $1,300 takes it. Must go ASAP

This is just my opinion.... but having the newer style front end on it would actually turn me away. Im pretty sure that will turn a lot of potential buyers away.

Another opinion of mine is that TC should be stripped of all Turbo Coupe badging...

Aw dude, WTF. Why would you turn an '85 Mustang into a "me too" aero stang? ugh.

Because I had the front clip in the yard, and because I can....:shakeass:  Plus I had the hood. enough reasons for you? lol.

Actually I bought the hood, wing, hatch and GFX kit before I even had a car.  When I found this car I knew it would be a piece of cake to swap the front clip over.  an because the newer stangs are ...  well.... NEWER looking..  actually Eric, up here the kits are all over the place.  we have a few ACTUAL DECH cars (VERY RARE for a true one) around here too.  It isn't mandatory if you dont use the front clip, but the body kit does flow with the lines better IMO.  looks tough either way.
